Hi,

I am having difficulty on my menus page with the “Manage with live preview” button. It shows items that are marked as “Hide” but not those that are marked as “Show”, regardless whether the contry listed is UK or USA. I am in the UK.

I have uploaded the 2 files to:
wp-content/uploads/geoip/GeoIPv4.dat
wp-content/uploads/geoip/GeoIPv6.dat

Any ideas?

Hi Folks,

A few users have reported that the Maxmind Geoip files are not downloading after clicking the download button in the notice on the dashboard. These files are completely optional and are mainly there in case one of the third-party APIs stop working – so you can just click the “ignore” button and should be good to go.

That said, you can always install the files manually like this:

1. Download these two files…
a. https://sourceforge.net/projects/geoipupdate/files/GeoIPv4.dat/download
b. https://sourceforge.net/projects/geoipupdate/files/GeoIPv6.dat/download
2. If it doesn’t already exist, create a folder in ‘wp-content/uploads’ called ‘geoip’
3. Put the files in the geoip folder
4. Delete the file in this folder called ‘ignore.txt’ if it exists

I tried to set your plugin for my site but not showing anything in Appearance >> Menu >> selection part of country as you shown in screenshot

My site is using ready theme and version of wordpress is 4.7.5

Please give me good solution for that

We are currently using your plugin on one of our websites and recently it stopped working and crashed our website. In order to recover the site we had to deactivate the plugin. The header would still load but everything below that was no longer visible.

Is the plugin up to date with the newer version of wordpress?

I like very much the idea of CSMI plugin, it would be perfect for me but unfortunately when it’s activated I have some problems with WP, for example I can’t add new posts, other plugins don’t work properly, bulk actions doesn’t work and others.

I’m using 4.7.4 WP and Auberge Theme

I also tried it with 4.7 WP, I tried other themes and I deactivated all other plugins.

Do you have any advice to solve the problem?

In our shop https://www.1a-eh.de the Geolite database files download does not work (looping). Do we have another way to put the required file to the plugin (e.g. FTP)?

Thank you for providing such a nice functionality with your plugin.

Unfortunately we have a minor issue since we use ‘UberMenu 3’ for designing the menus of our new web shop. In the past your plugin worked quite well, now it seems to have an incompatibility with UberMenu 3.
Could you please give us some advice how to proceed and how to fix this issue?Should we send you a screenshot?

Hi, I have not found this problem so here goes. When I activate Country Specific Menu Items plugin the Preview and Update buttons on the WP page editor stop working. When I de-activate the plugin Preview & Update start working again.

Hello,

I’ve added some pages to the menu to only display on specific countries (i.e. “United States”) but when I test it via VPN, GeoProxy etc. it still isn’t showing.

I’ve also been told that people in the country that should be seeing those menu items, cannot see them. Please advise…

I have also noticed that when I enter countries into the “Set visibility” input, when I hit “Save” they disappear so this may be a reason for it not working?

As stated above, once I go to the Menu page it’s completely broken — nothing else appears to be broken, but the menu page loses all styling and Admin settings.

This happens both before and after editing the wp-menus.php file as referenced elsewhere.

I have two issues:

1 – when I assign settings in the Appearances > Menus panel that don’t stay. Any ideas?
2 – my menu options do not change as advertised.

I am using WP 4.5 with a child theme of HTML 5 Blank.
