Doesn’t work. We installed the plugin, created an account and API key, added the shortcode through WP Bakery page builder and just get a spinning wheel still 24 hours after installation.
I just installed this and selected a zip code. The preview shows correct location. Shortcode on frontend shows London GB. ( i am not there)
any ideas?

I noticed that the weather widget is suddenly not populating anything on the front end of our website. The Temperature icon displays a broken image link icon and all weather stats (humidity, clouds, sunrise, etc.) are listed but no actual information is shown after the stat title.
I tried rolling back the plugin in case that made a difference but the only change was our city/state displayed properly but everything noted above was still missing.
I have also deactivated all plugins other than Location Weather and tried a default WordPress theme but the details from the weather widget were still missing.
Thoughts? I am using the free version of the plugin. Thanks in advance!

Plugin (free version) mostly works right out of the box. A couple of issues:
I thought these two display items worked okay when I installed it, but now I see they do not.
Your advice is welcome.

I have implemented template 1 and chosen the location and a custom location name.
It’s for a watersports club so wind and visibility are important. When I implement the wind speed is showing but without direction. Visibility and wind gusts are showing as zero.
This is the first time I’ve used the plug-in so I may well be missing something but any help you can give would be appreciated.
Hello, the plugin has stopped working and I am not sure if this has something to do with Google Captcha v3.0 I tested it with this captcha switched off and the plugin appeared to work fine… any possible ideas on how this can be fixed?
It appears that since our clocks have moved forward 1 hour, the dates/times displayed in the plugin are 1 hour behind. I’ve confirmed it’s not a caching issue and that my site general settings have the correct time.
I have the free option and I wanted to see the forecast for the next few days. The “Forecast Data” tab under “Display Options” is Enabled and I can’t change that, but I don’t see any forecast on my widget.
Is it supposed to show the forecast for the next few days or is my understanding incorrect?

I have the paid version of this app. I will admit that the learning curve for this one is steep (at least for me) Some of the issues I have managed to overcome. But this one I have been unable to figure out. On my page the spacing between the weather icon and the title and text are too tight. The app gives me the ability to control the space above and below the line but not within the line of content. Here is an image of what I am talking about. I am sure someone who understands code can tell me in just a few seconds how to fix but I am not a code reader. I know just enough to really mess it up good. So if you have a moment and can take a look at this I would be grateful.

I’m writing to report an error that I encountered while using the “Location Weather” plugin. When I try to access customizer page, I get the following error message:
“Fatal error: Uncaught ValueError: Argument number specifier must be greater than zero and less than 2147483647 in /home/xxx/www/wp-content/plugins/location-weather/includes/Admin/LW_Widget.php:88”
Upon investigating the code, I found that the issue is with the following line:
echo sprintf( ‘
%1$s <a href=”‘ . esc_url( admin_url( ‘post-new.php?post_type=location_weather’ ) ) . ‘”>%$s %3$s
’, esc_html__( ‘You did not generate any weather yet.’, ‘location-weather’ ), esc_html__( ‘click here’, ‘location-weather’ ), esc_html__( ‘to generate a new location weather now.’, ‘location-weather’ ) );
It appears that the second argument in the sprintf function should be “%2$s” instead of “%$s”. The error message states that the argument number specifier must be greater than zero and less than 2147483647, which suggests that this is the issue.
I kindly request that you take a look at this issue and provide a fixed plugin version. Please let me know if you require any further information from me.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hi,
i’ve updated all plugins and wordpress and set PHP to v8.0. Widget in Frontend seems to run, but as soon as i switch to my Design > Customizer the site throws an error:
“LocationWeather
There was a critical error on your website. Please check the inbox of your site admin email address for further instructions.”
I guess, the plugin is not fully compatible to PHP 8.0 ?
Or is there another solution?
Thank you,
kind regards
I have setted up the plugin and it shows perfectly on desktop, but it’s just not showing on mobile. I’m using Elementor and pasting the shortcode on the Elementor Shortcode Widget. Any help? I don’t see any configuration for mobile on the plugin settings.

Caching is messing up the widget, it will either be old or different on every page depending on the page cache. I’ve set the setting for “Skip Cache for Weather Update” to enabled but still seeing occasional offsets between pages.
Is there a uri exclusion I can write into my Litespeed settings to help?
