Hi,
We would like to display location search fields using custom code and would like to know how can we do that. We just want to show the search only function.
Thanks

I’d like to add a “View on Google Maps” link to the location detail modal on an embedded map.
Since this link needs to be built dynamically with the properly encoded address (possibly it is $google_maps_url?), it did not seem appropriate to to this as an additional field.
Can you steer me in the correct location for where to add this?

I need to add a strip_tags() function to locations.php, but my PHP skills aren’t really good enough to start messing around in there. For example, the number needs to be displayed as (555) 555-5555, and the HREF would be “tel:+15555555555”.

Hi, in the list of locations, how could we add a search box or dropdown menu that serves as a filter by to only show items of certain zip code or address?

Hello, I have discovered that there is a conflict between Events manager:https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/events-manager/ and the Locations. Will attempting to activate locations The new menu item is never created and attempting to go to settings for Locations gives this message: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
Any advice on getting these 2 plugins to work at the same time?
Thank you!

]]>Hi again =).
Question 1:
I have a question regarding translation of this plugin. I have done a custom translated version of this plugin by translating all files that uses some type of message strings/html strings with English text to Swedish.
Do you have any plans to make it easier doing translations by using .pot/.mo/.po files?
As it is now, it’s very time consuming to translate as it requires a lot of search and find to translate the right parts and not messing up any code.
Question 2:
Can you add a possibility to change regional settings for the plugin?
Example:
– Zip code and city; In US and many other countries the type “City, Zip code” but in Sweden we don’t use “,” as separator and we type the Zip code first and then the City. Would be nice to change this in settings.
– Google maps can be modified for use with other languages (just change country code in the html string for Google Maps). Can you please add the possibility to change Google Maps language in settings?
Hi.
I just installed your plugin and am wondering how to make the output from shortcode [locations] to display with 2 or 3 colums, instead of showing all in a list. I want to use the page width to display the locations. Seems like a waste of space to have them all below each other and it makes it hard for the enduser as it renders alot of scrolling.
Best regards,

]]>Does this plugin work for creating location pages for SEO purposes, especially if there’s no physical locations?
Basically, it would have a map of the city page, with directions to the actual physical location (usually in a different city), weather of location, and location specific content.
Is this possible with this one?
I want to create:
City 1
City 2
City 3
City 4
City 6
Is this possible?
]]>I have a page called Locations. Underneath that, I have a couple sub pages whose parents are the top-level Locations page.
For some reason I cannot access these sub-pages at all. They keep coming up as Not-Found.
Other page hierarchies are not affected and display properly, however I think that the custom post-types structure of the Locations plugin is messing with the resolving of the sub-pages under a Locations page.
Please advise.

Greetings,
I’m using the shortcode in a sidebar widget and it looks fine except for the spacing between Phone: (and the number) 123-555-1212 … this large gap causes the last couple of numbers to not show within the widget field (250 px).
How can I reduce this space or drop the numbers below the Phone: title?
Thanks!
