I deactivated the pluggin but it still shows up as active on the left menu of my admin area. There is no delete link next to the pluggin in the pluggins window.
How can I un-install the pluggin?
Thank you for your help.

]]>Hi,
Thank you for your nice plugin.
I’m a French translator and I’ve just translated your plugin..
Could you please tag a stable branch of your plugin on SVN? This best practice is necessary for us.

]]>I just now (Dec 21, 2019) installed the latest version of plugin.
Instructions say, “Go to Tools -> ITSec Log Cleaner”
However, I cannot find that menu choice.
I’ve tried network-activated versus single site-activated. I’ve tried looking under the main site, the hub site, the network access site.
None of them, under Tools menu, has any such option.
What am I missing?
(I’m on WordPress 5.3.2)
]]>Thanks for this plugin.
Can you please add support for newly introduced table wp_offa_itsec_distributed_storage
?
Hi Michael,
Again, great plugin.
Is their any way you can add a feature (settings option) to your plugin to automate the deletion of ITSec logs?
For example, add a settings option that states:
“Delete Logs Automatically: Yes (checkbox) | No (checkbox)”
If Yes is selected, a new box appears stating:
“Every ( D ) Day(s)”, where “D” is a numerical value (1 or greater)
Thanks for your consideration!
]]>Hi,
could you please add code to make your wonderfull plugin accessible via wpcli?
Would be great for automation
]]>Hi
After update WP 5.2.2 and Update Sequrity Themes, i receive an error:
Message:
WordPress database error: [Table ‘demo.xxxxxx_itsec_log’ doesn’t exist]
SELECT count(*) from xxxxxx_itsec_log
Notice: Undefined variable: num_dashboard_events in /home/www/…./home/wp-content/plugins/log-cleaner-for-ithemes-security/log-cleaner-ithemes.php on line 133
Note: Continuing here will delete the selected iThemes Security logs from the database. You absolutely can not undo this action. If in doubt, view the logs first or backup your database.
I will turn error display off now.
Bether when var num_dashboard_events is define at top with empty value to not display junk.
Thank you for this plugin.
regards
Good Day (and Happy Father’s Day, y’all)!
Hey, was wondering if you can integrate into your plugin – or provide in this forum – a snippet (PHP code) that will automatically delete the iThemes Security logs after x number of days?
Would be extremely useful and keep us from manually deleting the logs.
Thank you!
]]>Hi, can we ask you to have yr plugin sit within the iThemes menu please?
This is where it currently sits: https://prntscr.com/mrjphf
Would be 110% better if it sites where it suppose to be within iThemes Menu like here: https://prntscr.com/mrjqp9
What’cha thinkin?
]]>Hi @mikeyott,
As you probably know, iThemes added a new feature to its plugin (iThemes Security Dashboard). One of the features of the dashboard is to list the number of 404s (hits) for the website in question.
Is their any way you can add a feature to your plugin to clear the 404s from the website’s database too? Perhaps you can look at all other security readings that are being logged and assist with clearing them as well.
Per iThemes, the 404 history is displayed for the last 30 days, but have learned you cannot delete them using your plugin (nor theirs, as expected). Repeated requests to iThemes has fallen to deaf ears.
Again, great plugin. Thank you.
PS: Above feature (dashboard) only available for iThemes Security Pro users; however, 404 logs apply to both the free and pro versions.
Cheers!
]]>Hi @mikeyott
I’m a user from Spain, I found the plugin (previous) and I got here. I have translated into Spanish in case someone would like to use it. Thanks for the plugin

Hi @mikeyott,
Thank you for releasing this plugin. Very useful, indeed. If you don’t mind, thought I’d share some suggestions for future releases:
(sorry, couldn’t find your contact email address)
(1) Change plugin name to “iThemes Security Log Cleaner.” The name change will place your plugin beneath iThemes Security listing in WordPress’ Plugins dashboard section.
(2) Change the WordPress dashboard Tools section name assigned to your plugin to “ITSec Log Cleaner” or “iThemes Log Cleaner.” Name change will keep the entry down to one line (vs. current two).
(3) Your log cleaner lists “Temps.” Can you explain what this does? (see 4 below).
(4) In order to be consistent with iThemes Security log name convention (standard and pro versions), recommend only listing in your log cleaner the following options: All Events, Fatal Errors, Important Events, Lockouts, Notices, Warnings
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers!
