It’s simple, it works and it’s easy to customize.
Now we can also filter filenames for strings.
Thanks a lot for this great plugin ??

Nice and excellent plugin. Works easy, does only one thing and does it very well. Good documentation; I had it up and running in minutes.

Simple to use, and works! No issues at all!

This is exactly what I was looking for. It can display files and directories, and has simple options to sort and do other functions. So many other file display plugins I looked at were either too complicated, couldn’t sort (huh?), or couldn’t display directories.

This is exactly what I need to add the ability to share downloadable files with users on my wordpress site! Simple to add and works GREAT. Keep up the good work ??

Simply what you need to put a downloads page in your site!

I previously used ListYoFiles plug in but it was cumbersome to use and a bit complicated.
This plug in is absolutely great. It will not only show the files within a folder but it will show subfolders too. And if you click those subfolders it will show their files and any further subfolders and so on.
It really is unbelievably simple and beautiful and gorgeous to use.

Hi Support
How do you get the list of files to refresh? I have a folder that is uploaded but unless I change the shortcode to DESC and back to ASC the list doesn’t refresh.
Thanks

I can’t limit the uploaded files view only to the regisered users: there should be a flag for each file in uploading time, but, as workaround, I accept to limit all. (but it seems there isn’t a code for that.)

In my opinion, this plugin is a strong example of what a plugin should be: simple, useful, and well-supported.
It works well and the support has been fantastic – quick to respond to questions and open to including new features as long as they are in line with the plugin’s philosophy.
With a little imagination, you can find multiple uses for this plugin.
In short: It’s simple, easy to maintain, and effective. A great time-saver. Many thanks!

Does what I needed. In my implementation, I mounted a Microsoft folder (on my file server) onto my Ubuntu LAMP server. My WordPress site then uses m1downloadlist to serve the mounted copy of the remote downloads folder. That way, untrained staff can easily modify the Microsoft folder, and they never have to touch WordPress or Linux except as a user.
However, I had to do a little fixing to get m1downloadlist to run smoothly:
1. Debugger throws a warning about wp_enqueue_style being called incorrectly. I fixed this by wrapping the call as follows:
function m1dll_fix(){
wp_enqueue_style( ‘m1dll’, plugins_url(‘main.css’, __FILE__) );
}
add_action ( ‘wpenqueue_scripts’, ‘m1dll_fix’ );
2. PHP chokes on every unused optional parameter (in my case, this was d, label, target, sort, and nosize). Clear each error individually by using “isset” so that PHP never sees a NULL. I replaced:
$_REQUEST[‘d’]
with:
( isset($_REQUEST[‘d’]) && $_REQUEST[‘d’] )
to clear the error caused by an undefined ‘d’, and applied similar fixes to the other options that I am not using.

I was looking for a feature-less Download-Display-Plugin:
I have a folder with the folder-structure for the downlaods already in place.
This folder gets filled and maintained via FTP.
This plugin simply does its job:
Displaying the folders and files within the root-Folder i defined.

Thank you for this plugin but:
? The title “Pfad:” is not necessary
? I get a file icon broken because of an absolute real path of the image in the img src
Not too far from the perfection ??
