Good evening everyone,
can someone tell me how to customize the preview display of articles when they are password protected?
I would like to put an icon with a padlock, change the title that appears only with the word “Protected:” before the title and not display the description that is copied from the protected page of the article and therefore always contains this text:
“The content is password protected. To view it, enter the password below: Password:”
and as you can see it is not nice to see.

We’ve noticed since the last update that at the bottom of the carrousel there is extra characters “>?“. It seems that some code has been left behind or that a bracket wasn’t closed.

Sorry, this works for the site but not for the admin part.
Version 1.2.24. does not work with WordPress 6.1.1 and WordPress 6.2

When installing the latest version of your plugin, WordPress is no longer displayed.
Please update to WordPress 6.2.

After updating the Magical Posts Display plugin to version 1.2.14, WordPress stopped working. I had to delete it to be able to access the administration.

We seem to be having issues with Magic Posts:

1. Find a Network page with the map on, we are using GeoDirectory – we can add ‘GD search’ on the backend but it comes up with – ‘Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response’. which was working before, we have been liaising with Support at Geodirectory. https://source.worldcouncilforhealth.org/network/

2. on this page – it pulls the posts through and the first image come in really large – I changed an image on this post but it is still pulling the old image through and not fixed the issue.

3. we have this error : https://source.worldcouncilforhealth.org/wp-content/plugins/magical-posts-display/assets/js/swiper.min.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE

I installed version 1.2.12 on WordPress version 6.0.2 and when I activate it the site crashes requiring renaming of the plugins folder to restore functionality.

Looking at the debug log:

I’m using PHP 8.1. Could that be the problem?

Hello!

I faced such problem. On my page, before the text of the post, there is a text menu and the plugin shows the description of the post along with the words of this text menu.
I configured WordPress to show exactly the excerpt in the RSS feed and wrote this “excerpt”, but the plugin still displays all the text.
What else can I do to make the plugin show the excerpt in the post description?

At the bottom of this page https://www.alfayomega.pe/divinas-leyes/ I need to SHOW the total number of clickable pages available with Magical Posts Display. (they are displayed with Posts List Card template with pagination checkbox activated)

Currently I only get 1, 2, 3, … and 37.

I need to show ALL pages from 1 to 37 as clickable buttons. Like this:

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37

How to do it?

(Yes, already tried with WP-Pagenavi and it does NOT work because Magical Posts Display handles itself all pagination)

Hi, I have set the grid options for 3 columns but only 2 are displaying, with a gap on the right. This is a recent problem, perhaps since updating the plugin, rather than any changes I have made. The 3 columns do get displayed when I am in the customizer.

Hello! I have posts that have a Read More link in the text (such as https://hope4college.com/best-safety-practices-and-policy-according-to-students/). I have these posts listed using this plugin on https://hope4college.com/newsroom/, but now on the list card, there is the “Read More” in the text and a Read More button. How do I remove the Read More text from the list cards without removing it from the post? I’d like to keep the button.

after the last update [Magical Posts Display V. 1.1.2.7] my WordPress ended with a crash. No more access, not even via wp-admin.
Only deleting the plugin directory got the website up and running again. Has anyone experienced the same?

I’m using the list-card option of this plugin, and I’d like to make it so that the post titles are not in all-caps. Is there a way for me to edit the plugin code to do that?

I notice that your plugin messes up my theme colors because bootstrap overrides settings for h1.a etc. I can force an override, but since you only really need to do flexbox columns, couldn’t you use the classes already defined by gutenberg to do this?

I have a No post found! error showing everytime I input the Masical Posts shortcode “[magical-post id=”189″]”
I created a masical post to show all posts within the Education category, in grid layout, 3 column with button dark text similar to example screenshots on plugin page. All posts within this category except one, independently have a featured image along with corresponding text. Plugin is activated. password to access page: masicalpostsissue2
