Hi,
I tried this plugin but I get a load of css code and if i scroll to the bottom of the page, finally i get the newsletter.
I have genesis theme installed.
Thanks
sue
I’m using this plugin to list my MailChimp campaigns on a web page via the shortcode. I’ve discovered that the plugin does not automatically update my website’s MailChimp archive when a new email is sent out. I have to go into the administrative settings and manually update it every single time I send out a new email!
Is the plugin supposed to work this way? Is there a way to make the updates automatic?
If the updates cannot be done automatically, it seriously limits the usefulness of this plugin. I was planning to use this plugin on the websites of all my clients, but I’m not going to do that if it means I have to go around manually updating all the sites myself. It’s just more work for the site administrator.
Thanks for anything you can do to address this problem!

Hi karin,
What I mean is that MailChimp provides a PHP wrapper class for their API. I’m using 1.3 and MailChimp Archives is using 1.2. You could try:
1. Copying /wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-widget/lib/mcapi.class.php into /wp-content/plugins/mail-chimp-archives/MCAPI.class.php, which may fix the issue (or may just succeed in breaking the MailChimp Archives plugin. Or…
2. Contacting the author of that plugin and asking them to update the wrapper to a newer version.
Option 2 is probably better because it’d be more successful and would benefit the whole community.
Cheers,
J.

Just so you know, not sure if this reach any developers of mailchimp archives….

]]>Hi there ??
I think I may have run into a bit of a conflict between this plugin and the “mailchimp widget” plugin that I’m using to add a sidebar subscription widget to a client’s website. Here’s a link to that plugin’s page: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/mailchimp-widget/
What seems to be causing the problem is a conflict in the MCAPI versions (the mail-chimp-archives plugin still uses 1.2 of the MCAPI class), where if both plugins are enabled, the list selection control in the widget options (in the case of the mailchimp-widget plugin) and in the prefs panel (in the case of the mail-chimp-archives plugin) fail to load, and the plugins cease working properly.
I’ve written in more detail about this issue over on the forum page for the mailchimp-widget plugin—here’s the link to the thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-mailchimp-widget-conflict-with-mailchimp-archives-plugin?replies=1
If there’s anything you can do to help resolve this, I’d be very grateful!
Thanks in advance,
Tim
I really like this plugin. It provides a very useful integration of MailChimp into WordPress websites. Thanks for all your hard work!
I’ve a noticed a couple of issues with Version 3.2 of the plugin:
I can work around these issues, but I thought you’d like to know about them.
Thanks again,

P.S. Here’s how I’m using your plugin on my client’s website.
