The Support staff are not interested in helping you, just marking their Topics as ‘Resolved’.
You need to Hire a WordPress Developer if you want to get the full functionality from the ‘add-on’.
I’ve spent 4 days wasting my time on this plugin and will never ever install this rubbish again.
I’d give it 0/10 if i could.

This useful topbar does need to be updated to allow a required checkbox otherwise it’s no longer useful/legal to use on any website within the EU or any website collecting data from EU citizens.

I wish all plugins worked and were supported this well. Setup and management is easy. I was looking for an effective subscription tool that wasn’t too obtrusive. Ours is a membership site, and we just didn’t want popups to be annoying our returning visitors. The Top Bar works just right.

Overall, great plugin. I’ve been looking for this for quite a long time!
However, there is a small glitch. It doesn’t show well on my mobile browser.
I suspect because my theme is mobile responsive, but my Google Ads are not. Not the plugin fault.
But it would be nice to have option to disable it for mobile browser.

Bar installs quickly and easily, with easy customisation. It looks neat on all sized screens – there but unobtrusive. (We’ve even picked a background colour that obscures the dismiss arrow… I’m so sure the bar won’t worry anyone.)
Spotted a problem when first installed. If an email address was already subscribed the message came up over the form. Got in touch with Danny and friends and they promised to find a solution and release and update – which they did today, less than two working days later.

It works great. A nice addition to my site. Easy to install and use. This is yet another plugin by Danny that I choose to install. He produces good and reliable plugins.
It’s effective as well. I’ve had it installed in one of my sites for a couple of weeks now and my mailing list has grown significantly. I also use the “sync” plugin and that one works great as well.

We’ve recently introduced this plugin on a client’s site, so can’t really comment on the success of it. However, from a usability, speed and robustness point of view, this plugin has it all.

Disclaimer: I am the author of this plugin so I am obviously biased.
I am using this plugin myself on the MailChimp for WordPress features page and it has done wonders for me. This plugin is built as an add-on as I reckoned not all users of the original plugin would need this kind of functionality. This way, the base plugins stays as lean as possible.
