This page says that MailPoet can generate unique per-person coupons for automatic email sequences. Is it possible to share that same coupon code in a follow-up email? If so, how?

What I’m trying to do is this:

• A subscriber action triggers an email sequence
• The first email in the sequence includes a unique time-limited coupon for that subscriber
• The last few emails include a “coupon expiring” reminder, and show them the same coupon (for convenience)

I’ve searched the documentation, but didn’t see any mention of this.

I have two questions: do I need to change email sending services? If so, how do I connect the new sender to MailPoet?

Deliverability: Without thinking too much about it, I sent my newsletter early on the morning of the U.S. Election Day. My open rate plunged to 1%. A few days later, I re-sent the newsletter with a new subject line to all of the subscribers who hadn’t opened/clicked, but still got an open rate under 2%. My engagement rate has been growing over the last months, so I was very surprised. I have always used double-opt-in for new subscribers and my content is family-friendly.

I checked to see if my website was blacklisted:

NameCheap told me that the Level 3 was too strict and caused “collateral damage”.

Does this mean I need to change the sender from MailPoet to another service in order to re-build my sender reputation?

How to connect Mailgun: If so, I tried to set up Mailgun, and got a new subdomain verified, but I can’t figure out the SMTP settings. Do I need another plugin? If so, which one?

Following many tests, I can confirm that Mailpoet is stripping the class name I’m trying to assign to a link (using HTML code).

When I save the above, class=”external-link” is automatically stripped (i.e., deleted). When I make any other type of changes, there are no issues.

I am sending out a blog post email. It says it’s queued, but then the email is paused. There are no errors. I have an excellent open and click rate for all prior emails and my DNS records were validated. I am out of ideas as to why it is broken.

It just happen to me, i pulled the prod server, made some change (totally unrelated to mailpoet) and discovered my local instance has just send a “planned newsletter” with the mailpoet server !!! and of course a lot bounced because the domain was totally wrong and the client was blocked.. ??

In a conversation with A friend who is using mailpoet and woocommerce, the developer created different custom order status, where the “Completed” is an internal alert to automatically generate the order invoice, and till here, the mailpoet is displaying all woocommerce metrics properly.

When the team change order status to the following custom status, the metrics disappear:
– “Encomenda Enviada” (translation: Order sent)
– “Recolha em loja” (translation: In-store pickup)

Is there any way to change the settings in mailpoet to display woocommerce metrics when order status is:
– Completed, Encomenda Enviada and Recolha em loja

I use another form plugin (CFF) to register new users, not the mail poet form which is way too basic for my need.

I use an checkbox to acknowledge about their consent to get registered and receive email on this contact form.

I want to use mailpoet to send email automation a few minutes after their registered to get some instructions as reminder about how to book a service from our company.

In the error log, I see multiple entries like this:

I always get this error message: (Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.) anytime I want to activate your plugin. What could be the reason, please.

I was able to send the last newsletter without any problems. If I now click on Send, the current newsletter is not sent. There is also no message.

I am using Mailpoet plugin since several months and I am really satisfied with it. But recently a cookie crawler detected a cookie “mailpoet_page_view” being set. My settings for mailpoet in the advanced tab under tracking is “Partial”. According to your description, NO cookies are set with this setting.

This is a serious issue, because I am legally obliged to publish ALL cookies for my website in a privacy statement.

Two additional cookies were also detected: newsletter_editor.spectrum.palette and newsletter_editor.preview_type. From their names, they are not as obviously related to mailpoet as the one above, but I am using only mailpoet for my newsletters. And it seems they might be set only for the editor and not for the subscriber. But “seems” and “might” is not sufficient for a legal document.

Can you please help clarify which cookies I need to publish in my privacy statement?

I use shortcodes in my links to monitorize when someon clicks it. Everything went ok, but I think there is a problem since I updated the version of Mailpoet.

Now, the variables doesn’t get the value.

For example:

Now I receive the text “[subscriber:email]” instead of the value of the variable.

If I put the shortcode in the body works. It only doesn’t work in the links.

After adding Mailpoet to our site we experiece that all our quotes (We use YITH request a quote), are being sent out twice to our customers. When deactivating Mailpoet they are only sent once (as they should).

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi, I installed the latest version of the MailPoet plugin and created an automation. When a user subscribes to the newsletter, they receive a 15% discount coupon on their first order. Well, the code reaches the user, but when he inserts it in the cart at check-out, the system gives an error saying that the code is not valid on the item. I am having problems with the authentication of the DNS management. I tried to follow the instructions on the Mailpoet popup window, I think I entered them all (2x CNAME and 2x TXT) in my ISP DirectAdmin DNS Management but when I click the check DNS within the Mailpoet, it still gives me an error. I have read the instructions several times but still no luck. What do I do wrong or do I have forgotten?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, I have different newsletters for different post categories, I am seeing all Newsletters adding to “Scheduled sending tasks” despite no new post in those categories, so is this normal ? and they won’t be sent?

My webhost cron has been disabled, so when using an external cron service to hit the URL https://example.com/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/mailpoet-cron.php I get the error “You need to pass a WordPress root as an argument.” What does that error mean?

Sending emails with MailPoet has not worked for a few days. The attempt pauses with the following error message:

SMTP Error: data not accepted. Subscriber not processed (<***@***>)

The sending mode is SMTP, the MailPoet version is 5.3.3
By deleting the subscriber from the list, the problem occurs on the next one.
I sent a test email via the MailPoet settings and the mail arrived correctly, so the SMTP configuration is correct.
I contacted the server that hosts the site, Aruba, and they confirmed that the configuration is correct and there are no problems.
I also read the page https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/300-why-sending-is-paused-when-using-smtp but it didn’t help me.

The newsletter contains 2 image links. Both are stored externally. The first one displays correctly, the 2nd one renders only a question mark.
