Hello,

The Marketo Forms and Tracking Plugin has been creating excessive API calls every day from Multiple Ip address. The count of API calls has been more than 60,000 a day.

Marketo support says they could find any issue with their system. Can someone come up with a solution for this at the earliest?

Hi. Not sure if this is related to the plugin or to file system permissions, but every time I place a form on a page, I am seeing 500 errors for the marketo_ajax_get_lead ajax call.

action=marketo_ajax_get_lead&form_id=123

Any ideas?

Having issues getting the forms to preview. I have the correct Account ID & Base URL, but when I click preview it simply shows [marketo-fat form=”213″] on the page.

Also, can you provide some clarity around where to find the Endpoint URL, Secret Key, and User ID? Possibly through a screenshot? Thanks.

I want to completely customize the form, but the pre-built styles that come with the plugin are proving quite difficult to work around. Is there anyway I can just remove them from being injected into my build?

Hi. Is there a way to load this content only on the pages where needed?

The scripts and such get loaded everywhere, and in my case, are conflicting with other scripts and breaking them.

It would be nice to have the option to set page slugs/ids to tell the plugin to load the scripts on.

As my subject describes, the plugin appears to be ignoring the field settings for Do Not Prefill on my forms.
As a result, any values I try to set on my forms via JavaScript can get overridden depending on the order that things load.

eg:
Page Load > Javascript inserts status into hidden field > Plugin Prefills and overrides status with status from Lead

Is there a way within the shortcode that I can post upon submission a redirect to a specific URL? We have 20+ content pages using one form, and would like Marketo to listen for a specific thank you page upon form submission. Any help would be much appreciated!

PS this is what I noticed in the source code, I had my WP developer add in separate area where I could possibly place JS for post submission:

Thanks for making this plugin. Does this plugin ship with CSS for the non pop up forms? I’m only seeing “popout.css”/”popout.scss” in the plugin’s css directory.

Would be nice to have some styling/positioning options for the popout and an easy way to control the form styles as well.

I installed the plugin and compared the names of the fields in the Options page of WP to the information within the Admin section of my Marketo instance, but they don’t seem to be the same terms (e.g. Marketo Base URL – can’t seem to find the equivalent in Marketo). Any way to share screenshots of where in Marketo I can find these pieces of information?

Forms aren’t being shown (neither in content or popout, but popout itself slides in and out correctly) although it might be due to being misconfigured because I couldn’t find any documentation to confirm exactly what each field should be. I’ve used:

• Marketo Account ID: Subdomain for REST API Endpoint, e.g. “000-XXX-000”
• Marketo Base Url: URL from which resources (e.g. Landing Pages) are served, e.g. “https://eu-lon00.marketo.com/&#8221;
• Marketo User Id: Client ID of user created in LaunchPoint for API, e.g. “xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx”
• Marketo End Point Url: REST API Endpoint, e.g. “https://000-XXX-000.mktorest.com/rest&#8221;
• Marketo Secret Key: Client Secret of user created in LaunchPoint for API, e.g. “xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx”
• Popout Form ID: ID of <form> tag when embedding a form, e.g. “form_0”

Have I configured the plugin incorrectly or is it just not working correctly?

Also, minor issue, the “Popout Snippet” field is escaped on save and not unescaped on display, so you can end up with values like “What\\\\\\\’s up?”

So overnight, it seems that all my forms disappeared. my widgets are empty and it looks like the widget just disappeared. Nothing has changed on the site or at marketo. any help appreciated.

I just tried to install the plugin on a fresh copy of WP 4.0 and I got this error:
