Is it possible to have HTML content in the emails? I am trying to add links to new posts/pages and the html does not go through with the email

Would it be at all possible to setup a messaging option to allow messages to go to specific individual members who are not covered by the 3 options presently available eg could they be selected from a possible drop down list of existing group members – some messages need to only be read by a small number of group members (but not always the same members hence why a drop down would be great)

When trying to send me message out, I receive this notice in the browser [an error occurred while processing this directive].

When I got to my sent messages it looks like a couple hundred messages were sent, but not all ~800 I need.

Is there something I’m doing wrong?

I am trying to mass message 2500 members and it sends some messages but eventually crashes my server. I am on a dedicated server with plenty of power and using Buddypress 2.7. I’m guessing it is a timeout issue because my other sites on the same server are not affected by the crash

2. When a message is sent to all users does it trigger an email to be sent to the user as a private message does?

I have two types of admin, full on administrators and lesser admin, not able to change the plugins etc.

These lesser admin on my site are able to see the Front end option of “Sent this as a private message to all users”, however they cannot see the backend “Mass Messaging” link.

Which attribute do they need in order to see it please?

I’m glad you have added the ability to send all member emails from the front-end.

However there is an issue with such notices in that they all go out with the email title being “New message from Username”. I find this problematic in that I would like the subject to be relevant to the email, for example – “Groupname Newsletter” or “Sitename Newsletter” etc.

Is there anyway you could add this functionality please?

I’m running this on a site I just put up, and when you’re on the front end and send a message to either one individual or everyone, it works fine. But if you go to the back end and send a message to selected groups/roles it fails, and I get a popup window that says “An error occurred, please try again”. I see nothing in my logs to say what the error could be though. The site is running WordPress 4.6.1 and PHP version 7.0.12

What kind of message goes out using Buddy press mass messaging plug in? Can it go to people’s email?
