After an update, the page sections are not functioning properly. The formatting is simply deleted, and a text block is divided into many small blocks (either one block per word or per line). Additionally, these blocks cannot be edited anymore. It only works again if each affected text block is completely recreated in the Materialis Editor and deleted in the WordPress editor view.
I have already tried deactivating every plugin, but it doesn’t seem to be the cause. What else can be done to solve this problem?

I have selected the “Page with Left Sidebar” template.
i changed the underlying ip of this AWS instance and now wordpress, or materialis cant seem to understand to no longer look for these old image files at 3.234.227.104
It should be looking for them at 18.214.210.114.
I tried some wordpress cache cleaner but it didnt help. I dont know how to get rid of these old references to the old ip. As far as I can tell, there is nothing hard coded on my site pointing to these old files with the old ip address. Maybe there is ,but in the materialis helper app, I simply cannot find it.
Since 5.6 update to WordPress, I cannot load the customizer and attempts have left the site back at an old version of Materials.
I am up to date with .14.
Any help appraciated.
Hello,
if I use the plugin I can not use the translation function within the mobile browser menu.
If I deactivate the plugin I can use the function.
What could I change to have the translation function? (code: what, where, how….)

Greetings
When I try to use the materialis companion plug-in with WP version 5.3.1 I get a endless loading page saying “please wait, this may take a while”. I’ve already contacted SiteGround about the issue and they have identified some errors in the code as shown in the screen shot. I hope the problem can be resolved asap.

Some page content margins seem to disappear on any page that includes an embedded YouTube video block while the Materialis Companion plugin is active. If the Customizer is enabled, the layout spacing is restored. I’ve deactivated all other plugins but the Materialis Companion to try to isolate the source of this issue. Problems seem to go away if MC plugin is not active even when all other plugins are enabled. This issue doesn’t appear in the 2020 theme.
In contrast, I also experience excess spacing at times when neither embedded videos nor Customizer are not present, seemingly due to extra
tags showing up unexpectedly, but that might be a separate issue.
Either way, page content spacing is thrown way off when Materialis Companion is active.

Error: syntax error, unexpected ‘500’ (T_LNUMBER), expecting ‘)’
I tried to fix but the code is minified, it’s impossible, somebody can help me? It’s a simple error… See the code (minified) here https://prntscr.com/q2hn3w
After i upgraded the plugin to version 1.2.125, i noticed that every icon was removed. Does anyone encountered this?
The plugin creates empty p-tags before and after gutenberg blocks.
I created a block containing only the word “test” on a sample page. Without this plugin active it gives me this:

::before

test

::after

But with Materialis companion active it gives me this:

::before

test

::after

It screws up my entire design.
I could do some CSS-hacks and set the margin to 0 on these blocks, or delete them using jQuery – but they shouldn’t be there in the first place.
Seems to be loaded using “the_content()” in materialis\template-parts\content-page.php
No, my site isn’t published yet. Yes, I could publish it if you’re not able to re-create the problem.
Hola,
i′ve got an issue with shortcodes i wrote in order to use with a child theme for your materialis theme. It seems that the materialis theme or the Plugin removes my shortcodes from the pages post after i hit publish in the customizer.
Im using my own shortcode on the frontpage to add a seperator (tilt) to a section on the page.
Editing the post content with the classic WP Editor on my wordpress 5.2 website works fine. Also there is no problem using the shortcodes on pages other then the home page.
The html before i publish via Customizer

[kuhdo_separator flip="true" anchor="bottom" color="#a0d185" style="z-index: -1; margin-top: 350px;"]

The html after i published via Customizer

[kuhdo_separator]

Is this a restriction by design? Or maybe an escaping issue here?
I studied your themes and plugins code, but it′s quite large. I havent figured out yet how you sanitize the input from the customizers page content or where and or how you remove “[” and “]” from the post content.
It would be great if somebody that had the same issue could help me out with this by a fix or workaround if possible ??
The theme by itself works fine. Great work!
cheers
Can’t save changes while using the Customizer. Getting the following error:
Looks like something’s gone wrong. Wait a couple seconds, and then try again.
I can save changes made using the normal editor but not while using the customizer.
Hello,
After updating the Materialis Companion plugin I have a “warning message” which appears when loading (message stays on top on dashboard and everywhere – backend):
Warning: filemtime(): stat failed for /web/…..wp-content/plugins/materialis-companion/theme-data/materialis/integrations/gutenberg/integration.php on line 29
Can you please help me to resolve this issue? I guess I’m not the only one with this problem?
Thank you.
I’ve create a child theme but when launching the customzier, the spinner keeps spinning, telling me to wait a while.
Looks like the plugin is not fond of a child theme setting, because when I switch of the plugin the customizer loads in 1 second.
Any suggestions?

Hi, when I try to use the builder in Customize page, the builder won’t load. I’ve tried to deactivate and delete the plugin, but it doesn’t work.
