The code this is based on (ebcaptcha), and thus this plugin, only disable the submit button in client-side JavaScript. For humans, this is easily bypassed using the DOM inspector. For bots, it has no effect at all because they POST form data directly, and don’t actually use the form like human would. There is no server-side validation. This makes forms appear to be protected, and slows down real humans, but fails at its primary purpose.

Very good concept, very easy to use, no Google reCAPTCHA keys required, but, would be nice if we could add a custom label and could control the width of input text field.

This protection is just javascript-wise without serverside re-validation of the input. It just adds an additonal obstacle to a real user. Additional it looks ugly and has no predefined styling options available.
It doesn’t stop any serios spam bot. In its current state, this plugin is useless.

This is really a simple plugin that adds a math captcha at the end of a elementor contact form. Exactly what I’ve been searching for. Perfect to act in compliance with data protection regulations in the EU, as this plugin does not send any external requests to other servers, as does Google’s reCaptcha, for example.
