Error 500 is thrown when trying to Search media files

Thank you Valera Satsura for Media Search, a step in the right direction for much needed improvements to ease of navigation and management of the default WordPress Media Library.

The one caveat however is that it only applies its upgrades to the upload.php Media Library, but lacks support for the search field in the Media Library lightbox while creating posts.

Is it simply too complicated to implement and/or thought unnecessary or is it possible that this feature could exist soon?
