Hello! I use this plugin on the website for a meetup that I help run. We really like it a lot, thanks! However, I’ve been getting emails from Meetup.com that they’re discontinuing their old API. Will that break this plugin? Are there any plans to update this plugin, or is there a similar alternative? I haven’t been able to find anything else that just displays upcoming meetups in the sidebar.
Thanks!
Mike
]]>Hi
I am only interested in embedding the Group Reviews of my Meetup group (TrekPyrenees) on my web site (www.trekpyrenees.com)
Any plugin can do that? I will pay for a new development if necessary.
Thanks!

]]>Hi,
I am using the “Meetup List Event” widget.
On the homepage, it displays events coming up in the future.
On page and post sidebars, it is displaying events that are 3 months old.
Please advise.
]]>Can your plug in generate widgets with images like on this site?
They used a Meetup app but its not a wordpress site:
https://www.sierramountaineeringclub.org/events
Click on any event ans youll see the event widgets in the sidebar with photos and so forth.
thanks!
I was very excited to find this plugin for my site. It worked for a few days, then I had a major problem with the site in messing around with HTML I know nothing about, which disabled all of my widgets. The site is now back to normal, I just had to deactivate and reactivate all of my plugins. I did the same with the Meetup widget, deactivate, activate, deactivate, and it would not work. I eventually deleted and reinstalled it, reset my API key with Meetup, input the API key, OAuth key and secret into the General settings, but still nothing. The list of events is not showing, only the title of the plugin, which I type into the title field.

Anybody have any idea what could be going on? (In the meanwhile I have created an RSVP button to have as a link while I fix this issue, but I would really like to get the list of Meetups on there).
Kelly, I have messaged you about this privately, sorry, I did not realize that I could contact support here…
Thank you!!
]]>Hi,
How could I insert this into a page instead of using it as a widget? Either using a shortcode or directly into the PHP, both are fine.
Thanks very much!
I’m not sure if this plugin is still being actively maintained, but I spent some time with customizing the widget display yesterday and I ran into a couple of issues relating to styling and content of the “single event” widget.

How do you determine your MeetUp Group ID?
]]>Please see Meetup event plugin on sidebar – REAL ESTATE SUCCESS NETWORKING on https://investorsbeat.com located between the Facebook Fans and Videos.
How can I correct the alignment of the text for this?
Thanks!
]]>I installed the plugin and it works wonderfully. One problem, my main menu disappears. I tried two different themes and get the same result. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks again for the wonderful plugin.
]]>I have been trying to get this to work with the Oauth Provider plugin, but it doesn’t seem to recognize that oauth is running.
Do you some oauth plugins you recommend that work with the meetup plugin?
Thanks,
Troy
]]>Seems like the event list widget is shifting the time by two hours. Making it two hours later. I am in the central time zone. Not sure what the 2hr shift would be.
]]>I downloaded and tried this plugin multiple times and each time, even with the 3 magic API code keys (which are very time-consuming to find), the plugin simply did nothing at all. It did not link to my meetup.com account or display anything at all. Just empty. When I posted the question on the forum, the suggestion was to clear my cache – which I did multiple times and still nothing showed up.
]]>Hi, love this widget! Thank you thank you!
One small suggestion. I’ve got events for two different Meetup groups on the sidebar. It’d be great if the header for the widget could optionally include a link to the Meetup group main page. That way if there are no events scheduled, there’ll be an easy way to get to the Meetup page from the widget.
Thanks!
]]>Hi there, thank you for this widget. I have the correct title, date showing but the time is incorrect by exactly 4 hours each time!
So if event starts at 7pm – widget is showing 3pm. What can I do to align the times correctly. Thank you

]]>This plugin requires 3 key codes and simply did not work after several attempts. The person making the plugin seemed nice and sincere but the plugin itself simply never worked for me no matter what I did. After entering all 3 codes, the plugin did not display the information correctly and just didn’t work correctly. I tried several times, used other plugins that all worked fine, but this one just was incomplete.
So, unless it’s updated, which it does not appear to be, I won’t be trying it out again because it simply did nto work for me.
]]>Great plugin, just one issue.
When using the Meetip List Event. Correct Event, Correct Date but Incorrect Time. Time is out by 30mins (early).
]]>Great idea for a widget, but when I entered all 3 codes needed in the Settings panel, the widget still did not show up after I logged out. I tried copying and pasting the 3 codes several times, then logging out, and checking my website again but it never worked. Bummer.
]]>Hello there I got this error. No other plugin are installed at the moment and I have the latest release of both WordPress and the plugin.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
]]>Hi! I installed the plugin and configured OAuth (I think…). When I press the RSVP link, a pop-up opens with the following contents:
Fatal error: Class ‘OAuth’ not found in /home/mises768/public_html/wp-content/plugins/meetup-widgets/vs-oauth-event.php on line 47
Any hints?
]]>Just wondering if anybody has any idea if this plugin works with multi-site?
