How can I use youtube image instead of Importing to my server?

Today I activated and removed this plugin (Meks Video Importer). Then the media library page stopped opening. The error locked the server. By chance; I disabled another plugin (Quick Featured Images) and tried again, the media library page started to open again.

While searching where the error might be, I noticed that if the following setting is checked, it gives an error in “Quick Featured Images” plugin . I am writing to inform other people and plugin authors who will encounter this error.

The problem was solved by disabling it with the following setting in “Quick Featured Images” plugin:

“Display a new column in the media library with the titles of the posts for which the corresponding image is set as featured image”

In fact, the settings of the “Quick Featured Images” plugin were the same before installing the “Meks Video Importer” plugin. There was no problem. However, after installing and removing the “Meks Video Importer” plugin, I encountered such an error.

I’m trying to use the plugin in combination with https://cooked.pro/.

If I import to Post Type: Blogpost it generates the post with the Video and Description like here: https://wp.letitcook.com/ratatouille-einfach-schnell-und-lecker
All good..

If I select Post Type: Recipe (which is actually cool that it appears), it generates a Recipe page with only an image and no description from youtube. When I select Recipe, the Post Format dropdown disappears. So no chance to select video.

I’m pretty sure I would have to modify the parser part of this plugin to get desired functionality. Problem is I have no idea where to start looking. If anybody could point me in the right direction or has done something similar I would highly appreciate any guidance.

It appears that I was only able to import about 500 videos in bulk. Another person on the forum had a similar problem and the only answer given was something about the API not being reliable any more and scraping. I have no idea what that means or how to fix the issue. I have 800-900 videos on my YouTube channel that I was trying to import.

The plugin works fine in other themes I use with WordPress Mu. However, I noticed that it doesn’t work with the Tempera theme. After the Youtube Api is approved, it doesn’t switch to the “import” tab. How can I solve this problem?

The plugin simply stopped to work. Nothing happens after I click Fetch Videos.

Is there a way to remove top and bottom black bars of YouTube imported thumbnails? No matter what theme I use they always show up and it doesn’t look good.

I was able to install the plugin on my wordpress site add an API key for youtube and it was successfully verified.

My problem is that when i try to import a channel, i get this error on screen

I just installed the plugin based on the review and added the Youtube API (installed on 07/14/2020). On the import tab, I am not able to pull any video with search, channel or playlist. When I submit the query, the page just refreshes. I do not get further options like the ones showed in the screenshot. I have the latest wordpress CRM, it is a fresh site. What could be the problem? Anyone else facing issues while fetching the videos.

The API key is correct but still there is no way to import any video from Youtube as I only receive the quoted error above.

Whatever I do the credentials fail to work. I think it is not setting referer properly in the plugin which causes the Google API to 403.

I have started to use their tool, it is great, but since I am doing tests, I have used a list of videos, then I have deleted all the entries to do them correctly. But now there are videos that I detected as having already imported them, and I do not have entries for them. Is there a way to purge it to detect those that do not have facts? I use the vlog theme

Your plugin clicles into these strings:
‘maxres’, ‘standard’, ‘high’, ‘medium’, ‘default’,

but youtube api V3 with part = snippet returns only ‘high’, ‘medium’, ‘default’

The plugin works fine. It’s the best YouTube Video importer plugin. But I would love to say that I almost stopped using this plugin, because I had to cut and paste the YouTube video link to the post custom field prepared by a theme. So please add Custom Linking feature to the plugin, so we can choose where to add the post title, post description, video link, etc… For Example:- I used a BeTube Video Theme for my website. And know that your plugin works fine better than the BeTube Theme YouTube Video Importer Plugin.

Also, please Change the multiple post method sorting by recent date. The most recent video must be on top of all created posts by this plugin.

Hi, this plugin is really great and definitely helps on my website which is running on Vlog. However before I switch from the plugin I was using, Video Importer, I’m not seeing that it can automatically detect and add new videos like that old plugin did. Is this a coming feature or, even better, something I could have missed? The old plugin scans at regular intervals for new videos on a playlist to add.
