I was searching for Internal linking plugin and came across reviews of Mentionable(wptavern and shoutmeloud). As both are authentic blog so i thought of using it on my sites. But now i see it is not updates for long. so it is ok to use or should i go for other options.
]]>Hi,

Hello
I am trying to make the code available on Front End WYSIWYG / TinyMCE editors.
I have until now used a adapted version of the @mentions system of P2 Theme.
There is was easy, in the JS file I just needed to add support for my Front End Editors as this example:
P2.autocomplete.mentions( $( '#posttext, #comment, #cred_form_13_1_post_content, #cred_form_523_1_post_content' ) );
Where do you define where the @mentions is triggered?
I then just would need to extend that support to the above Editor ID’s
Thank you!!

]]>Hi!
First of all – thanks for the great plugin. I still haven’t figured out how it works, sometimes I have to type the word several times and use some backspaces to trigger the frame with the link, but eventually it shows.
I took a look into my php error log and I see many many logs like:
[03-Nov-2015 14:01:04 UTC] PHP Warning: DOMDocument::loadHTML(): Document is empty in Entity, line: 1 in /home/ht682/paleosmak/wp-content/plugins/mentionable/includes/mentionable-postmetas.php on line 113
Is it something that you can fix?
Thank you in advance.
]]>I just upgraded to 4.1.1 and I got a PHP error that white screened my site.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /wp-content/plugins/mentionable/includes/mentionable-settings.php on line 34
I was able to deactivate the plugin via FTP. Wanted to make you aware of this issue.
]]>How useful is this!? This is a great plugin idea.
I have installed, selected settings, but nothing at all happens in the Edit Post window when I type “@” followed by a word I know is in my site. What am I doing wrong?
]]>Hi
Great plugin thanks, really useful.
But I’ve run into one problem: I type @something, select the desired post to link to, then click back into the editor immediately after the link to continue typing, but the text that I type is still linked, even if I enter a space before continuing to type. There doesn’t seem to be any way to ‘break out’ of the link.
The only way round this is before doing the linking: type an extra space, move the cursor back one character, then type the @ symbol.
Cheers
Simon
wanna know if it works fine with buddypress
]]>Just wanted to check and see, what are the chances this could be made compatible with multisite? While I understand it could add a bunch of overhead to the plugin, it could be a killer feature for our content editors.
]]>In a sandbox site I enabled Media in the settings and uploaded back.pdf and address.png, but I’m unable to get an autocomplete prompt for @back or @address. My page and post mentions work as expected. What am I doing wrong?
]]>Is it possible that this can be extended to autocomplete usernames via the @mentions within blog/post comments?
]]>Love the idea of this plugin, but it only seems to allow following the @ symbol with one word. If you add a space, it stops searching and treats it as regular text. Is there any way to support space and thus narrowing down the selection of titles with more than one word?
]]>Would be interesting if this could work on users.
“@Barack Obama” … would link to his author index.
]]>Hi, great plugin, but my problem that i want users also to be able to mention others, is there an option to enable it on the front end for users too?
