Can I change the layout of the plugin?
When I see the site on computer the layout is form side to side in one row, when I see the site on iPad or mobile devices the layout is on two or more rows, how I can make it on one row always?
Hi there,
I am a total novice– no HTML5 or CSS– and have been building a website with the Customiz’it theme. The theme does not have a footer menu. I have tried several widgets, but they all fail to display correctly– often are vertical or bunch up. I installed the Menu-on-Footer plugin, but it does not seem to pick up the pages. My understanding from reading is that the default setting would automatically populate the menu with existing pages automatically, unless specifically excluded (??) Right now my footer menu reads only “no categories.” Any help for a novice?
Thanks so much
]]>I would like to make this plugin responsive.
Do you have some css I can add?
Hi – This plug in has been very helpful! However, I am very new to wordpress and have a few questions?
My site is meganrmccarrin.com
1. How do I narrow the site map to fit the body of my site?
2. Can I make a site map through a sitemap generator and use it with this plugin?
3. How do I add additional information other than pages and categories to the footer using this plugin?
Thank you!
]]>Your plugin is great and truly one of a kind, there really is no other plugin that makes a footer menu so easy to get. However, whenever I use it as a plugin, the table isn’t of equal proportion. Please have a look at the image to see what I mean. I tried using it as a plugin, but this makes the menu go under the footer and therefore unusable in plugin mode.

Also, how does one turn off the bullets?
And one last question, is there any way to make the parent link of the menu bold?
I have no coding experience and your help would be much appreciated.

no matter what i try i cannot exclude pages from appearing on my footer menu using the plugin or the widget. I do not wish to use the widget as I’m using canvas theme and have footer widgets in place.
Any help most gratefully received.

]]>I’ve made some edits to menu-on-footer.php (specifically, category coming to the right of page menus, and the addition of RSS/FB/Twitter links to the right of that).
My revisions start at line 35 and continue to the end of that UL block.
For some reason that I can’t fathom, I can’t get the revisions to load.
I’ve deactivated and reactivated the plugin. I’ve removed it entirely and put it back in. I’ve taken out and recreated the footer code.
Any clues as to what I might be missing?

Tried with both Atahualpa 3.7.10 (the intended theme) and TwentyTen 1.2 (hey, it’s what was handy).

Any ideas?
]]>In a theme which does not support footer widgets (I know), the ‘plugin’ mode is useless so far… and the plugin absolutely refuses to acknowledge that the css file has been made writable. Even so, as far as I can tell, there is no functionality built into your plugin for custom css anyway. Am I wrong?
]]>Hello,
The plugin works but it added an horizontal scroll bar, whereas I’ve just 2 links (for now). Do you know how to remove it ?
I use the last version of WordPress and Ascetica theme.
Thank you,

]]>Wow, I must say that your plugin is the closest I’ve seen which can build a site map at the footer of the page. It’s quite brilliant but I’d like to make a few suggestions. Unfortunately, when I use it as a plugin, the text and bullets are not aligned properly and determining the difference between a category and a page isn’t obvious.
I’d like to suggest allowing the user to change the background color. It’s always black whereas the theme a user chooses isn’t always. If there was a way to predetermine that color or allow the user to choose, that would be nice.
Second, allow the user to choose the font type and color of both categories and pages. This way the information can be easily seen.
Lastly, allow the user the ability of disabling the bullets. Everything is followed by a bullet and I’m not sure why.
I did have one question about this plugin. You’ve created a feature called “Use as plugin” or “Use as Widget”. When I choose “Use as Widget”, it’s not a widget item which can be dragged over to the sidebar. Was this not what this feature was meant to do? If not would you please explain?
Also, is a Widget not a plugin? I’m not a programmer so I’m trying to learn the concept.
Thanks for the plugin!

I want the footer menu to be different than the main navigation. Can I create a separate menu in the Appearance/Menus section for the Footer Menu to read?

]]>I have stopped using the menu on footer plugin (our needs changed), and I have removed the plugin entirely, but it is still showing up in my 404 logger, usually as ‘/upgrades/wp-content/plugins/menu-on-footer/menu_on_footer.css’
Any ideas? I don’t remember customising the plugin in any way.
]]>When I installed and activated this plugin, it mut the menu over top of my site at the top of the page. Looked at the settings, and didn’t see anything that would move it to the bottom of the page.
]]>Centering questions:
1. CENTERING COLUMNS: How would you center the menu columns appearing in the footer?
I tried the “margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto” code on each line in the CSS file with no luck.
2. CENTERING ADDITIONAL TEXT ADDED TO PHP FILE: I added a copyright footer in the menu-on-footer.php file (via the “echo” command) and it is also floating left. How would I center this?
