Unfortunately, Menu Per Pages has serious software design flaws too, although it looks a bit better than Page Specific Menu Items.
Ohh, I tested four plugins today. This one is the second.
The ONLY one that has finally done the job (Oh Glory, How happy I am! ??
is Conditional Menus at Themify. It’s such a pity those guys didn’t publish it here.

This plugin is exactly what I needed and was looking for but apparently it doesn’t work with the theme I am using. I changed themes to test the plugin and it worked on my other theme just not the theme I want to use. From what I can tell from my brief testing this is simple to use and REALLY fills a niche.

I don’t know how many plugins for menus, custom sidebars etc I tried. None of them worked easily or properly.

After fumbling with multiple plugins..I finally found this great work that perfectly suited my needs. My theme does not allow multiple nav menus..but the plugin gave me what I wanted..a custom menu for each page..all you have to do is define your custom menu in the dashboard, and as you edit a page..select the menu you want displayed..
