I can’t seem to make this plugin work. Can’t make Spanish flag show up to save my life. Klicking on one of the flags doesn’t translate anything. No errors are thrown. Not sure how to proceed.

The plugin is not working, and I am suspecting it’s because I don’t have the right ID code entered into the settings. The link provided under the AppID field did not help me find an ID code to enter here.
I’ve gone through all the steps to get what is now called a “Microsoft Live” account, and I’ve even signed up for the Microsoft Translate API free version. These are the codes I now have available but NONE of them enable the translator to work:
– Windows Azure Marketplace Account > Primary Account ID
– Windows Azure Marketplace Account > Customer ID
– Microsoft Account > Personal info > Unique ID
No matter which code I enter, the [translate] link appears on pages and posts, I can click it to reveal languages, but when I click on any language, nothing happens.
I suspect that Microsoft has changed their websites and processes and terminology since the plugin was created.
After all, I figured the plugin might not work anymore, perhaps due to changes at Microsoft, as the past support thread “Plugin not working at all” seems to indicate. Apparently it was working and then mysteriously stopped working.
I would rather not leave the broken plugin there to confuse my site’s users, so I deactivated it. If there is a solution, I may give it another try.

]]>Thank you for developing such a solid alternative to Google Ajax Translation.
I have a site that requires SSL for some of it’s forms. I have a separate template I use for them that has the header and footer code included in it (so as to separate it from header.php and footer.php). I need to stop the Translation plugin from loading into this specific template. Excluding the page ID via the manager does not do what I need because the script calls to insecure assets.
Any help?
TIA
Rat

]]>I installed the plugin and put in my bing API. The translate link appears and when I click it the different languages show up. When I click a language nothing happens. I’ve also tried installing it on the default theme and it does the same thing. I’m using v 0.1.1 of the plugin.

]]>Hi!
Your plugin works GREAT, thanks!!!!!!!!
The one issue we noticed was that we could not get Spanish as an option (it even shows unchecked in your admin screenshot for the plugin). Any ideas?
Thanks,
Paul
