One of the best CSS styling plugins to use in combination with page builders. There are often times functionalities that needs to be done outside of the builder, but integrated into the overall site as a short code, or custom code and this is where Microthemer really shines.
It allows me to tweak and style those elements to match the overall style of the theme and is absolutely fantastic in styling different components that has been integrated/glued together, but still produce the same look & feel.
Great developer, awesome community – 11 out of 10, would whole-heartedly recommend.

Before I discovered Microthemer I used to write custom CSS code, which was okay, but it was very time-consuming to find the exact CSS classes to modify.
With Microthemer (Targeting mode turned on) it is very easy to find and change the CSS I need, and I can make simple changes like color, border, position, spacing, sizes etc. and even more advanced stuff like animations within seconds.
I needed to modify the standard WooCommerce checkout page and here Microthemer really shines, it took me no time to modify all the things I needed.
Great user interface, a lot of features and superb performance. The best part, it is non-destructive because you can easily reset the changes you have made, and all the changes is saved in a separate stylesheet.

I used to write custom CSS code in the theme customizer, which is OK for a few small changes, but not for serious CSS coding. MicroThemer is a huge improvement for developers, but it makes styling also easier for people who don’t know much about CSS. It offers a great user interface, a comprehensive feature set and a stunning performance. MicroThemer has become one of my most important tools for styling WordPress websites.

While page builders and the block editor are becoming the standard in creating sites Microthemer becomes an even more important tool for web creators.
With an increasing amount of blocks and page builder widgets from a variety of sources become available, the quest for consistent design is becoming more challenging.
Fortunately there is Microthemer. Styling Elementor Widgets, Blocks, Plugin outputs are a breeze now. It’s also a great enhancement for oxygen builder thanks to it’s integration.
What’s a bit surprising is, is that not more web creators use it.

All the other visual CSS editor I know of (site Origin, Yellow Pencil and CSS Hero) want $ for the one and only function for which I needed them; font changes to elements, which function the theme I use doesn’t support. I’m starting to wonder if the theme developer has shares in that cabal :D… It’s just a beautiful theme though, so have to find a way.
FINALLY with Microthemer it’s possible to change the font on the ‘blog title’ and ‘blog description’, and all gratitude and respect to the makers. They have thought of little details that make the workflow much smoother, like the ability to save recommended font families to the top of the drop down list, so you have your limited collection of fonts easily available and don’t have to keep scrolling down repeatedly as you swap out the fonts on various elements. It’s easy to keep the theme homogeneous looking.
The documentation is comprehensive and includes ‘over and above’ topics that aren’t part of what the plugin does but will help the user understand the related parameters that will interact with it, such as fonts installation CSS inheritance and many more.

This is an amazing plugin that has changed my development workflow significantly. I used to create a custom functionality plugin with SCSS to override my themes CSS which was a slow process of trial and error. Now, I still create the custom functionality plugin, but I don’t have to create the SCSS overrides and instead use Microthemer to do it which gives me live updates and significantly reduces the development time. Thank you Themeover for this awesome plugin!

Lightweight and efficient. If you need to change some details in your site’s layout, Microthemer will help you a bunch. The best part is that you don’t need to keep the plugin activated if you don’t want, just copy the modifications and paste them in the Custom CSS field (on the Customizer Panel) or add them in a Child Theme.

I will admit: for me, this plugin was a little more than a little complicated at first, but once I got the hang of it, things were easy to customize!
I am looking forward to getting a better understanding of what is what so that I can easily customize EVERYTHING I want without having to jump through unnecessary hoops to make simple changes.
I can understand why novice developers would think this plugin is awful. But I choose to see it as a challenge that will only enhance my skills!

I love this tool because it allows the experienced developer to quickly, easily and with almost zero impact be able to craft CSS solutions to design problems on top of Page Builders quickly and easily including a kind of IDE for CSS and even throw in some JavaScript for event handling, etc.
At the same time, it enables Page Builder driven designer to add “features” to widgets that are not otherwise there and to start to learn what CSS can do to address their design concerns by playing in Draft Mode and sticking to a page with the Page-specific options.

This is one of the most important/one of the FIRST TO INSTALL plugin for me, when making a new WP install. It is great in many ways :
-let’s you see your changes on the go (no need to save/exit/refresh)
-creates CSS code – which is a big help, for those who just start with CSS.
-just recently added ANIMATIONS, where I have few favourite ones that I use
-awesome support
-the option to remove plugin and keep the code, to make your website a bit lightweight ??

Microthemer has enabled me to gain complete control over appearance. After several months of use, I can get the look I want 90% of the time and this percentage is steadily increasing.
It’s also a good learning tool.
I combine it with GeneratePress and its addons – GP sets up the site, then MicroThemer tweaks the CSS as needed. This tweaking is something I’ve struggled with, as my CSS skills are minimal and my learning is slow.
And it’s lightweight and safe to use – all it does is produce CSS, and everything can be turned off or on, deleted, rolled back, exported/imported.
I recommend it highly. Well worth the price, actually worth far more than the price.

I’ve been using Microthemer for a long time now (a year or two) and just realised I never posted a comment here (use the full version, so don’t really come here to download it)…
Microthemer is one of the few plugins I install on every WP site, along with backup and security plugins…
I know CSS and even teach it, so I can code manually without any problem… BUT this tool makes it so easy and fast to make a change and saves you so much time because you can see right away the effect of your modifications (forget about the “type your code, save it, go to the page, go back to your code, save it again, go check your page, etc…)! And version 5 has added so many great features!
I like it so much that I even created a 30+ video training site on how to use it with one of the theme I work with…!
So, if you know how to code, it will save you time… If you don’t know how to code, it will allow you to do things you never thought were possible…! And one of it’s strength is the ability to target specific screen size, so ideal for responsive web sites!
One other thing I really like is that because of it, 90% of the time I don’t need to create a child theme anymore, since the CSS modifications are apart of the theme itself…!

I contacted support and got a very fast reply from Sebastian. I contacted him after I downloaded the standard license but could not make adjustments to my site with Microthemer. I provided login info and again received a fast response from Sebastion. The problem was with the caching at my hosting service. I contacted them, they disabled caching and I am up and running with Microthemer. I purchased this product in large part due to the reviews I read regarding support and ease of use. Having tested both, I can say that the tech support exceeded my expectations and Microthemer is easy to use as advertised.
I am building my site with Divi. I am not familiar with css, but with Microthemer I do not need to be proficient in css. I am getting familiar with the basics through the tutorials which I find easy to follow.

As much as I loved the look and feel of CSSHero, the poor UX made it impossible for me to use.
In the end I got a refund.
Then luckily I happened upon Microthemer Lite and I was back in business.
I am a site architect and not a developer, so CSS has always been a bit of a black art to me; a little bit voodoo and hocus pocus.
But I just bought Microthemer paid version, and to say I am totally impressed with it would be a real misunderstatement.
