I get errors when im trying to transfer the new website to live domain.

They successfully uploaded a file to my server; however, thankfully, Imunify360 detected and blocked the PHP file.

Although I’m not a security expert, I believe this could pose a significant risk if someone were able to exploit it.

I have used Migrate Guru for over 100 migrations without issue until today. Today I am getting an invalid url error as shown here: https://share.cleanshot.com/NSHCwz1K

The URL is valid as I can access the site with a copy and paste of the url. Any ideas why this may be happening?

This is the error i received when trying to migrate: Error while creating the table wp_posts. Please contact support team. I tried to migrate multiple times and received the same error.

I’m trying to migrate from nexcess to a test site on my vps on liquid web. I have successfully used this plugin in the past to do the exact same migration. However, this time it fails because “can’t connect to source” even though I kicked off the job from the source site.

support at nexcess said the logs seems to show a mod security issue so they modified the modsec rules but it still failed. Sometimes some of the files are actually moved before it fails.

Support noticed that the plugin was making requests from several IP’s and wasn’t sure if that was causing issues, even though they whitelisted them.

This Plugin works Great for migrating from one domain to another but i cannot transfer an existing website to my server without first transfering it to a different domain.

Is there a solution for this or am I already doing it the best way?

I have a client with a WordPress Multi-site and wants moved from his current host to a cloud host (AWS WordPress Multi-site)

I have the AWS setup and can access it no issues (new A record in DNS pointing to sandbox.****.***)

I run Migrate Guru and it completes, however sandbox.****.*** does not show the migrated WP site – just the sample page.

I’m new to WP and need help to see where this site is that says it was migrated.

I am using Migrate Guru to migrate sites. It works really well, thank you.

One issue I noticed on a migration is that the data for the Relevanssi plugin, stored in three tables, is only partly copied over. The site I migrated had 43K records in table wp_relevanssi, but the migrated site only had 47 in wp_relevanssi. I exported and copied the Relevanssi tables manually and that works. Is there any reason Migrate Guru only partially copied the wp_relevanssi tables?

Here as you can see above the website size is just 14 gb. I tried to redo it more than 5 times I already increases the upload size but still the size is 13gb/13gb which is not even half the whole website. Our website is around 60- 65 gb. by size is there anyway to make it work?

My client has 2 websites I am trying to migrate. Both of them have the same issue in that the plugins and theme migrate, but not the content. I have tried migrating from scratch several times and each time it is the same. Thank you!

I’m getting this error:
The migration key for your destination site https://mydomain.com has expired. Please refresh the admin page on destination site to generate a new key.

This just happened to me with two of my websites and I don’t understand what’s the problem. I tried to refresh the screen where the migration key, copy the key again and same error again.

Does somebody has been through this problem?

I have launched a multisite WordPress instance on AWS Lightsail using WordPress Multisite blue print by Bitnami.

While migrating the first site, received a notification that the site migrated successfully. There is no clarity over which site the migration will take place as there is one dashboard for all the sites when it comes to plugin management in WordPress multisite setup.

If the files indeed got migrated as confirmed by a notification over the email, is there a way to adjust with one of the sites through WP Admin dashboard?

So I just migrated my site from wordpress.com to SiteGround hosting using migrate guru. The site seems all good but when i try to log in to my wp-admin panel and I enter the login information I submited when creating the website with SiteGround. It says invalid email and that it hasn’t been registeted. What can I do? Thank you.

I used Migrate Guru to migrate a site that was not yet live, from one Bluehost Account to Another. The site size was only ~670MB, but it took 2.5 hrs for the migration. I did finally get a success message, but now my WPBaker widget icons are broken. I am using The7 theme which includes WPBakery as part of their download. I have not yet tried reinstalling the theme. So far all content and links seem to work. What is your recommendation. This was my first time to use this tool vs All In One WP Migration, so not a very good first experience ??

Support think their server may have blocked IP but will need to know what IP the plugin is using in order to unblock it.
Can you provide a list of IP used by the plugin?

I migrated the multisite subdirectory from Cloudways Nginx to xCloud OpenLiteSpeed, This was ok.

Today I tried to migrate from xCloud OpenLiteSpeed to xCloud Nginx. Two times.

There were two issues:

1. I had no permition to access backend.
2. The site was broken
3. When I iniciate migration for the second time it seems that part of the site was allready cached

Can I use your plugin if the WP is sintalled inside a folder ?

However you dont see the /im/ in the front end,

Please let me know if I can migrate as it is, or I have to move WP to public_html

Well, my use case is here:

• I want to migrate URL A at hosting A to hosting B (using same URL A)
• I have point URL A dns to hosting B
• New fresh wp installation at hosting B now using URL A
• So now how do I migrate the website from hosting A to hosting B?

Most of the tutorial showing sourced and destination using different URL. But I am not using different URL. Just migrating same website to new hosting.

The migration stared, and copied all the files, then it starts to migrate the tables, and stops at this one dygu_search_filter_cache.
