With this plugin activated (which works great on text links) I found that it disables all style on the buttons created by Beaver Builder if the button links to a PDF file. I’ve tried various classes from the button in the settings to try to prevent it from acting on the button, but nothing seems to work.

]]>Hello, Just to inform you that I came across a problem on one of my sites today, in that the GenerateBlocks Query Loop block was failing to retrieve posts. After lots of debugging, it was the recent update to the Mimetypes link icons plugin that broke something. Deactivating the plugin, or rolling back to my previous version (3.2.12 in my case) also resolved the issue.

Except: How can I switch to the former version?

]]>Hi,
As long as it was working, your plugin was very usefull (thanks for that !). I see there has not been any update for a while, I guess you stopped maintaining it. If so, do you recommand any other plugin that provides the same functionnality ?
Thanks in advance, and best regards.
]]>Hello, view mime type icon pdf only single post, not full site (example pages, calendar, etc…). It’s possible?
Thank You
]]>This is not an error, it is a feature request. It would be useful to me (and I’m sure others) to set the minimum size to display the filesize. Showing small filesizes is just clutter on the website, but there are cases where I want to warn website visitors of a large download that can take several minutes.
I was able to locate in the code where I can disable the display of any file below 1MB, but of course that will go away with an update to the plugin – I’ll need to remember what I did.
Thank you – otherwise great plugin.
]]>I installed MimeTypes Link Icons on one of my websites. Unfortunately there seems to be a bug. After adding two files to a custom post type, there is a line of text added “a[data-mtli~=”mtli_filesize1,37MB”]:after {content:” (1,37 MB)”}a[data-mtli~=”mtli_filesize1,73MB”]:after {content:” (1,73 MB)”}”. How can I get rid of this?
I am using the latest version of WordPress with the Jupiter X theme and Elementor.
]]>Hello,
I have images linked to pdf files but I don’t want to display any icons with those images.
I am using the disable classnames option with the classnames below but it’s not working:
size-full, wp-image-2765, alignleft, wp-caption, img, image-attachment, elementor-image, elementor-img, pdfemb-viewer, elementor-button-wrapper, imgsize-fullwp-image-2765alignleft
I have tried disabling other plugins and ticking the box to enable asynchronous replacement with no luck.
I don’t know what else to try…
Thanks for this great plugin.
]]>Hi, I found in my log this error :

thanks
Hello,
I would like to ask what class do I have to disable to show embedded pdf file and also show the icon of yours near the downloadable link to that file?
Because now when mimetypes is activated, PDF embbeder is not showed, only link to that file.
Hello,
How do I replace the provided icons with my own?
Thanks!
]]>Hi there,
This plugin works great, however, it will also affect the “Download” button – if “Show download button” is selected.

Back a couple of years ago I asked about the possibility of getting this plugin updated/tested so that it would not be flagged by WordFence as “abandoned.” Happily, it all worked out (see link) above. However, WordFence is back to flagging it again, so I’m wondering if you all might consider updating it yet again to show compatability with WordPress 5.8.X.
FWIW I’m running 5.8.1 and experiencing no issues or concerns with the plugin. It is a valuable little tool and I’d hate to see it go away!
Please let me know if I can provide additional information.
Best,
Mark
]]>Doesn’t work on live site. But works nicely locally. I don’t even see the icons under plugin settings (on the live site)! Tried to reinstall – same thing!
]]>Hi
We have a downloadable installation package using Windows latest package type msixbundle.
This isn’t recognised by mimes type link logos, so no logo appears.
Is it possible for you to add this as I imagine more of this type are being used.
Thanks!
Mark
The plugin seems to work well with WordPress 5.7 (although not tested beyond 5.2.10 according to the plugin page) except for the file sizes. I am using the plugin on basic pages (no special post types). I tried switching to the default theme but the file sizes are still not appearing.
]]>Hi,
Great plugin so thanks. Just shame it does not have the ability to add PPTM files which are very common.
Can you please add this onto the list, must be easy and use the PPTX image?
]]>HI
You made a great plugin. It could be easly tagged as WCAG plugin if you create a posibility to choose instead of png or gif a txt option. When txt option is choosen then instead of image shuold be file extension shown. I’ve looked allmost everyware for that functionality. Please make that awable it’s a must have for WCAG
I’m having issues with a clients site who is using WooCommerce and their Documents plugin to host manuals and such.
On the product pages, the Mime Icons and File Sizes aren’t showing up. Even if I put the media file using the add media button to the description for the product.
However, when I generate an “All Documents” page from the plugin (use /all-documents/ on the end of the URL given), they show up fine.
Is this a known issue with WooCommerce pages as it would be really nice to have the file sizes show up within the product pages so folks know.
Thanks
Andy
Hi,
Size file disappear when rel=”noopener noreferrer” on the PDF link.

Feature request: would it be possible to integrate an icon for external links/webpages? Something like this:
If not, is there a way to achieve it through css?
]]>I am using WordPress 5.3.2, with the most up-to-date version of the plugin (3.2.8) and I only see the Mimetype icons added to document links on posts, but not pages. I’ve run debugging but no errors are showing. Basically, on Pages, the attribute is not being appended with the attachment class.
Page example –
a href=”https://domain/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/document.docx” rel=”mtli_filesize58kB” Document name /a
Post example –
a href=”https://domain/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/document.docx” rel=”mtli_filesize58kB” class=”mtli_attachment mtli_docx” Document name /a
*I’ve removed the attribute brackets so you can see the HTML
Is there anything I can do to add the attachment class to links on Pages?
]]>This is a problem I had that I’ve sorted out.
If you are running the Litespeed Cache plugin with minification and css combination enabled, your icons may disappear.
To resolve, go to Dashboard > Litespeed cache > Settings > Tuning.
Add mimetypes-link-icons to CSS excludes and
mtli- to JS Excludes
Icons should reappear after a css/js purge (Litespeed > Manage).

Hello,
I’m trying to disable this plugin for one page on our site. I tried using the Enable/Disable classnames section (by adding a class for the wrapper), but it only half-works. When I look at the css, I see the mtli-attachment class is removed, but the mtli-pdf class is still there
Is there anyway to easily disable this plug for a particular page? Thanks. Version 3.2.7
