When you’re a busy sysadmin with 800 students walking in and out of your office, you value stability, ease of use, and clear documentation to maintain your sanity. Mini Orange is just the right juice for us. I don’t look for any other SSO plugin, because I know that this one works with minimal effort. I had our WordPress authenticating in under 5 minutes.

We are using their SAML SSO plugin and support has been amazing since day 1. Whenever I have a question or need help in general, they typically respond in a couple hours and sometimes quicker than that.

I appreciate that their tech support team does not make me feel like I should already know the answers to my questions as well. I like that they actually answer each question I have asked vs lumping their answer into 1 and missing other questions.

The plugin does what it is supposed to do when it come to signing in users. But…

The problem for us is that the paid version of the plugin may not be automatically be updated using wp-cli. They have a special way (why not just support the default way of “wp plugin update …” ?) but the versions delivered using that upgrade was lacking the special way of upgrading, making them unable to upgrade again.

The support tried to help at first but the problem was never solved and they stopped returning my messages eventually.

Now we have stopped using this plugin and have migrated to another free plugin. It works well for what we need to do and it also works well with automated upgrades using wp-cli.

We ran into a problem with the current release and custom fields we were storing from Active Directory. We had an address book of employees that was no longer displaying data correctly. Contacted miniOrange and they got back to me that afternoon. They reviewed our setup, made a small change to the released code and was able to fix the problem. Excellent work.

We have been using this Application for over 3 years now. We have not had any issues with the application. We only contact support when the new license is needed. We get great Support whenever we contact the company. This time I worked with Uday Sawant, and he was really great. Very knowledgeable in regards to the plugin and the systems that the plugin runs on. It was very easy to work with Uday due to his professionalism and communication skills. We will continue to use this plugin due to the quality of the product and support.
