In many ways, MMWW is the greatest plugin ever written, smoothly moving jpeg metadata into WordPress fields. I use all WordPress fields on my soccer site. MMWW is the missing link between EXIF, IPTC and WordPress MediaLibrary. It’s exactly the sort of technology which should be built into the core of WordPress, but since it’s not – a huge thanks to Oliver Jones.
Amazingly resilient coding. Very little has been changed in the last eight years in MMWW yet still MMWW runs reliably.

This a smart piece of work with potential and its own Github. I have found so many uses for the data that piggy-backs in on photos, and this interface between WordPress and the image meta-verse is the only phone call you need to make.

Very easy to use, and it works like a charm!

It was an excellent plugin. But with the latest update it got broken – images are uploaded under the date of upload rather than date of creation (despite the settings). Tags and copyright line are now uploaded into the “upper” description area rather than the “bottom” one.
PS: By the look of it this plugin is unfortunately an abandonware now. It’s a pity since there is no alternative.

This has added metadata perfectly as captions for my library images. When I asked if it would be possible to add code for the image (attachment) id to appear in the caption he included that in the latest upgrade. A great plugin… thanks Ollie

This plugin does exactly what I need. Works great, very stable. No need any extra interaction or additional settings. Everything is automatic.

I have not been able to find anything until MMWW 1.0.2 that correctly retrieved metadata from PDFs imported to the WordPress Media Library. Simple, easy to understand, and works. Thanks, Ollie!

Great plugin! It does exactly what I needed to display the author and license (copyright) photos information on my site.

Needed something simple and light to display the exif data of my photos in the caption section of my blog…this plugin did just that!

Hi cool plugin, but I have a feature request
would be great if when you upload an mp3, it creates a category or tag based on a selected ID3 property….
so for example, if I uploads an mp3 with the genre ‘rock’, it automatically adds it to a post with ‘rock’ as category..
cheers
