I just loaded MobileView and love it!
My question is this-when I first loaded it, all the feature images for my blog posts were showing up on mobile is a very nice size-they stretched across the phone above the name of the post.
Since loading the pluging, I have posted 2 new articles. The feature images for those articles do not look like the previous article pictures-they are small and only go over half the phone width.
Is there a setting I can change so that all the images are large and go across the width of the phone?
Is it possible to remove the mobile menu entirely.
I have tried using display:none but there is a brief flicker of the list when the page loads in the mobile.
]]>1) Viewing my website on my phone where it shows the main page and lists each individual article, it shows the author and time/day stamp. This info is in grey, and the time/date stamp also has a dark grey highlight, making it impossible to read. In the settings of the plugin I see some CSS. What part of this CSS controls how that looks so I can change it? Thanks!
2) Possible bug? Sometimes navigating through my site, the desktop version of the site will load instead of the mobile. If I refresh the site then it usually kicks back into mobile. This happens on different pages at different times. What is causing this to happen?
3) I don’t know if this is a “feature” or not, but also on the main page, I can’t click on any of the images to take me to the articles. I have to click on the titles of the articles, which are infinitely smaller than the images. Is there a way to get the images to be clickable? My fear is someone will click on the image and think the site is broken.

I wondering why there is no desktop to mobile switcher URL for users who open site even with PC? I see there is switcher only if you switch from mobile to desktop, but how about for URL to switch also for PC users?

I changed the location of the slider by changing this line of code if($hipnews_slider_exclude && is_front_page()){ to this if($hipnews_slider_exclude && is_page(2983)){ Here I used the page ID and yet the slider fails to show up. Any hints?

]]>The plugin is OK, much better than WP Touch. But there’s a slight problem. The pictures are not scaled down to mobile dimensions and are shown big. You either have to scroll horizontally to see the full picture or zoom out until you get the whole picture smaller and fitting the screen but at the same time making the text too small to read.

]]>I would like to use this plugin but unfortunately there are 2 issues with it.
1 – It does NOT show any thumbnails on the index page unless they are uploaded on the server. Please make the plugin show external hosted images as well such as those hosted on IMGUR.COM for example!!!!!! There are 2 logical ways to retrieve these images, either the first available image in content or from custom fields.
2 – Let me choose which cateogry to display in the “Featured” gallery and let me choose how many posts can be included both in the gallery and posts below.
Do these 2 things and this plugin will be almost perfect.

MobileView plugin is awesome, super user-friendly. However, the page titles are annoying. I hid page title from computer version of the site using a css:
.entry-title
{display: none;}
But it’s not working for the mobile site. Any clue how to hid page title when viewing it on mobile device?
]]>we are using lensa to build our site. we installed mobile view. for the most part it’s awesome. unfortunately we are seeing the latest post as the front page of the mobile version, and we’d rather see the slider we have set up (that works in the browser, reading settings are set to latest posts). under slider options ‘disable slider on the home page’ is not checked. any advice on how to get the slider working?

I’m using MobileView 1.4.3 with the HipNews skin.
My home page displays correctly on smartphones, except for the featured images of the articles written with the WordPress Android app : for those posts, the featured image appears in its original size instead of the thumbnail size.
Any idea why that is, and what I have to change to make it work please ? (other than stop using the Android app… ;-))

Well I am using this plugin and its working fine. But there is an issue that when you open home page or any category page. Its show 2 thumbnails properly but for the 3rd thumbnail its shows full image and so on as well. So how i can fix this issue.
The other thing is i want to add ads in post. How i can do that?
