Hello,
I don’t know why these days whenever I click an author’s link (e.g. example.com/author/john), it redirects to the homepage rather than the author’s page with postings below the author box.
How can I fix this?
Thank you!
Hello,
I am wondering if there’s a way to list all the authors belong to the same country or organization, say, if I click the UK, then it will list all the authors come from the UK?
I am using the pro version by the way.
Thank you!
I love the author box. But I know I’m getting really nit-picky about the line breaks for the author meta. What I want is for it to look like this:
Emily Martin
Author & Founder at Raising the Saints
email – website – posts – etc
Instead, it’s putting everything on one line (if I shorten my title & remove email address view) or breaking up the company name. Is there any way I can fix this?

Current, on the author archive page (the Full Biography page), there are no Profile Image and social media icons showing up.
Is there any fix to this?

We’ve experienced an issue where we’re unable to select authors that exist at times.
Is there anything we can do to prevent this error?

Does it work with “custom post types”?
Thank you so much
The text and link for “More posts” (in my case “More articles”) below the author name in the author box is suddenly missing. Only the separator is showing followed by a blank space where the “More articles” link used to be. How do I fix this?
Hi there,
We noticed in the latest update that adding a guest author now requires an email address when trying to create a guest author from within a post.
If the author is created in /admin.php?page=author-new it doesn’t require an email address.
How do we turn off the email requirement in a post?
Thanks!
Hello,
Starting from Molongui Authorship 4.9.x, the plugin shows advertising to Molongui Contributors on Editor page.
It seems that Contributors MetaBox is conflicting TaxoPress AI Suggested Tags, Preventing Suggested tags to be clickable.
Also, Preventing Contributors Metabox from loading (Using 3rd party) wouldn’t fix the conflict.
I had to rollback to Molongui Authorship Version 4.8.6, which is works fine without conflicting TaxoPress.
I’ve been using the Molongui Authorship plugin for three years at MetaStellar.com. This week, the author bio disappeared from the author pages.
When I disable the plugin, the bio comes back — but I lose the multiple authors on posts! So not a good option!
When I re-enable the plugin, the bio text disappears again.
I can’t find a setting or control for this anywhere.
Thanks!

Hi,
since about half of February 2024, the Authors on our site can’t remove themselves as Mologui Authors from their own posts. The box Authors apparently works without complaints, but the change is not saved. Everything works fine after upgrading Authors to Editors.
All the bylines on the website using guest posts randomly began showing “https://a%20href=#molongui-disabled-link…”
Please help me resolve this! I’ve never had an issue before but now I can’t get any guest author names to show correctly!
Example page: [ redundant link removed ]
On one of the sites with tagdiv newspaper theme this plugin is causing an issue. I’ve not provided any social profile to the guest author but it is showing administrator’s social profile within guest autor box.
Hy
Would like to know is there a way to sort Authors dropdown list in post editor in the way that first it displays original authors (users) and after that it displays guest authors?
Right now it sorts them alphabetically and mix both users and guest authors together like in this screenshot.
Also is there a way to remove some created users from the dropdown list?
For example in the screenshot above, I would like the original user E.M. to not be displayed in this dropdown list in post editor.
tnx!

I wanted to know if there is the possibility of modifying the schema markup that the plugins add automatically or by default to know if structured data from the author’s social networks can be added to this schema.

I have noticed that in a list of posts and on the actual posts themselves that in he Byline area it only displays the Author pic if one is logged into the website as a registered user. All of our Author accounts are all Guest Authors with no access to our website.
For the public the listing of posts uses a Gravatar icon where the Author pic would be if logged in.
Looking at the code for the Author Pic for “Baker Park” for all non-logged in users (ie public) it shows:
Baker Park
Where as for a logged in user where the Author Pic is no displayed it shows:
Baker Park
Why is the Author Pic in the byline area not displaying to the public who visit our website but does display to logged in Admins??
Please note that this is not affecting the “Author Box” at the bottom of posts which works at all times and we appreciate that.

I’m using the Newsmag theme by TagDiv, and it looks like the custom font size (21px) I set up for the post contents through the Newsmag theme panel is controlling the fonts used on the Molongui plugin author bios.
I used the Author Box Editor to select a smaller font size (12px), but it’s not working. I also inspected the CSS to try to change the font size, but my tests are not working either. The author box only displays the font style and size set up on the Newsmag theme panel.
Is there a workaround or solution to make the bio text size smaller? Thanks in advance. I’d appreciate any help.
