Unfortunately, access to the backend makes the plugin extremely limited, I won’t be able to use it ??
We have other components, plugins, that cannot be displayed to the backend user, so the only solution is to have all the incredible features of this plugin on the frontend… Please, do you offer this solution for those who purchased the premium version? (unfortunately, using the plugin only in the backend is an obstacle to use, we cannot use the plugin)
hello! I bought your plugin and use it for a long time and serves me well.
Recently, I realized that Woocommerce Addons needs a new option to move requests according to payment type.
For example:
Order Completed that were paid with payment type X, move to ABC account.
Order Completed that were paid with payment type Y, move to account XYZ
I have three payment gateway (it’s a particularity here from Brazil), so need to create these filters that will move to the right account according to specific conditions.
I am referring to the type of payment, but maybe it could be a more general filter … maybe create a filter with varies options (payment type, category, etc … are just ideas) and then move to specific account.
Would this be possible?

Would it be possible to introduce the option to (permanently?) add a filter to the “summary” section so not all accounts are included in it?
Scenario: basically, if I created an account for a guest house in which I would like to see running costs. I made two accounts. One proper bank account which is the one I use for the guest house; and then I created a “cash” account, as a balancing account. For example if I need to transfer funds to the guest house bank account, I use this “cash” account to balance it out. But that cash account is only for balancing the above account and has no other use and does not represent income/outcome. Obviously this falsifies my “summary” as it also considers the “cash” account as well in the overview and tells me either I have more money or am incredibly deep in depth, which I am not. ??
Does this make sense?

can I suggest to add more sorting options in the “all transaction” tab. Currently I can only sort by date.
Scenario: I’ve now added all the things I wanted, but realised that my original idea how to categorise things is not that great. So I need to re-categorise some items to make more sense in the overview. But I can only sort by date, not by category.
I also would like the option to sort by “amount”, I.e. to find the biggest costs or income. I would also be interested in sorting the “parties”.
So maybe introduce a sorting feature for all options?

I have now uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. There was no need to delete the database entry, apparently that stuff gets deleted automatically.
I have tried to setup a new recurring transaction and I still can’t get it to work. So I tried it now with a limited amount of repeats (11, to be precise, rather than infinite). The setup looked like this:

So the “next due date” is what I consider the “when payments started” or when I want the app to start triggering the repeat payments. So starting June, that’s seven months, and the rest should then be triggered in the system when we get to that point. So transfer number 8 would then happen in 3 days time.
However, instead of starting in June, it’s being added from January. For the whole of 2023.

So I am not sure whether I don’t understand the purpose of the current transactions or not using it right. For example, if I would like to add up monthly telephone or membership fees or similar, my idea is that I would enter it in your system from the day these payments started, (let’s assume I use infinite for now), I would then trigger this and let’s say payments started on 1 January 2021, it’d add these payments for the past years up to 1 January 2024, and then “trigger itself” on 1 February 2024.
Am I not using this right? ??

]]>Hi, I am currently trying to implement plugin and the addons to use it as our house budgeting tool, so we have a rough idea how much money we spend on repairs and other regular expenses.
Whilst trying to work with your plugin I noticed some things that I think would improve usability a bit, so I hope you don’t mind providing some feedback.
Categories: changing colours
I don’t know how many people use a colour picker or choose their colours by RGB/HSL. I am old-fashioned, I prefer hexcode, particularly as many websites offer colour/shade pickers and copy-pasting one hex-code is easier than three separate numbers.
1) If I would like to change the colour, I have to click at the bottom to change from RGB/HSL to hex first. Every single time. — is there a way to make your plugin remember what I used last?
2) Also, maybe it would be easier to just show all three options RGB/HSL/Hex instead of having to click through them, each time.
3) When I copy a hex code from a different tool or program, CTRL+V just leaves empty space. I also can’t right-click into the field and use the context-menu to paste. I literally have to remember the hexcode or put the two tools next to each other to copy the code manually.
Graph & pie chart: display colours
Staying with the colour topic: As I mentioned on the Envato forums already, I prefer the old fashioned colours for incoming (black) and outgoing (red) money. However, I understand not everyone sees it the same way. So maybe this is more a feature request, to let people choose their own colours.
Currency:
On one hand I find the feature of the current currency rates quite handy, on the other hand also quite confusing. You are fetching the “current” currency rate (I am assuming based on $, the currency icon is missing). But with a different base currency this obviously makes no sense. You then ask for the rate between the “current base” currency. Which kind of makes sense.
But then I don’t understand why you fetch the current rate of the currency, but are not able to update the difference between the base currency. Wouldn’t it make sense if the fetch feature only fetches the rate between the current base currency? Rather than fetching a standard rate and ask the user to add the difference manually (which then obviously is not updated). This feature – in my opinion – contradicts itself. Or maybe I don’t understand it.
Cash/Dept/Bank Accounts
I don’t know how you designed and/or this tool. It probably comes closest to what I need as a “budgeting” and “planning” tool that most things I have seen so far. But in my scenario I don’t need to have any accounts setup, I just want to track expenses and potential future expendiatures. So it would be great (from my perspective) if I could just not setup any sort of monetary account from which the expenses are being deducted.
At the moment my work-around is, that I setup a cash account with zero money in it.
Another aspect of this… wordpress and its plugins are prone to security attacks. I think the last thing I (personally) would like to do is giving too much detail where money is going into and how much has been accumulated in that account, or anything about any debt accounts someone might have.
Visual Feedback
Maybe put a little background shade behind the menu in the top where it says “accounts | categories | parties | currencies | import | $” to make it a bit more visually pleasing and highlight it as a menu. Same on the left with “Summary | Cash flow | Trasnactions”.
Right, that’s it for now, I am sure there is more to come. These are just some ideas that I thought – from my point of view for what I would like to use this tool – would be helpful. Situations and usage obviously differ, for someone else that might be utter rubbish. ??

I’m trying to move from Quickbooks to MoneyManager. One thing I rely on heavily in QB is nested/sub categories. For example, a couple lines on the US tax from are “Sales and Gross Receipts” and “Cost of Goods Sold”. In QB I have sub-categories under sales so I can generate a report and see the split of sales for each category. Likewise, COGS has sub-cats for “Outsource” “WP Plugins” and things like that so I can quickly see where my COGS broken down into more detailed groups.
However, it looks like your parent/child structure may be locked in. Would it require massive code changes to set up nested categories?
Hello how are you? Apparently there is an error in the summary. I did a test on my website, on the demo site I did the same test and the same error occurred. The summary does not display negative balances. See this example: link here
In this case, the correct option would be to display the total amount of the negative balance within the summary option. This happens perfectly with a positive balance. How do I fix it?

So i bumped into your plugin today and I am really interersted in it. but i need to know if i woud be able to sync all my woocomerce existing orders with it & their respective dates and categories.
I tested the free version and i know it works with new orders but so far i only managed to get all new orders to come to just one account, party and category. I need all my woocommerce product category orders the way they are on the orders page to be on money manager. is that possible?
I also took note that once i get the ultimate woocommerce then it will automatically delete/remove orders from it when i remove them from my orders. So now i just need confirmation with the orders sync.

Especially on the Cash Flow screen, where you have a summary of entries and exits.
My sales are virtual products and have no delivery costs. But it’s also another cost to consider.
There are also product costs that can be configured with the help of plugins.
It would be very important if there is this option to automatically post the costs / fees of each order.
