First, Moot is wonderful software and this plugin certainly makes the initial setup as speedy as the forums themselves.
I have run into some issues though and hope someone can help guide me in the right direction. On my site, https://www.damouse.com I implemented both the moot forums and comment sections through the use of the plugin. The moot comments appeared but did not replace the wordpress comment system. Is this the normal behavior and I just need to figure out how to hide all wordpress comments or should it have literally replaced that comment box with its own.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated,
-Ralph
Hi,
I notice on your website you have a pricing page. Is Moot always going to be free? I don’t want to add it to a site with a user base of 1000+ and then have it pay for it a year down the road.
Thanks

Is it possible to import existing comments from WordPress into Moot?
]]>I am missing something basic here. I have set up the plugin to point to my forum bpmnpro. I can use a regular web link to go to the page on moot.it. But if I create a page in WP with shortcode [moot forum=”true”] nothing appears.

Use shortcode [moot-forums]
The iframe solution doesn’t resonate with me. Rather confusing, unless you anticipate many support reqiests ??
]]>I just installed the moot plugin on my local machine (Mamp on OS X), and got the following error: The plugin does not have a valid header.
Will look into this later when I have some extra time; just wanted to let you know.
Thank you for the plugin.
Cool plugin!
Just one request: could you please stay up-to-date with the current moot version? I noticed this plugin includes an older version of moot’s css, causing major style breaks on my website. I fixed it for now in classes/class-plugin.php line 117:
replaced
wp_enqueue_style( 'moot', 'https://cdn.moot.it/1.0/moot.css', null, '1.0' );
with
wp_enqueue_style( 'moot', 'https://cdn.moot.it/1/moot.css', null );
Hi Mike,
Can you upgrade the plugin to use new moot version and also add image embedding support for the plugin: https://moot.it/blog/release/v1.1.html
Would be very thankful,
Marek

Hi there!
I have installed the plug-in, added my https://moot.it/xxx url under settings, added [moot-forum] on my page, however I am getting the error “Forum does not exist”
Kindly help!

Hi, it looks like I am having a problem with the alignment widths for the popup objects, even on mobile view.
It looks like that the widths for top and left are predefined by normal ‘px’ values instead of percentages.
Is there any solution to this? I tried changing the CSS by the TE extension plugin, and i couldn’t find anything in the plugin files..
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi,
Inserted [moot-forums] shortcode to a new page, to try this one out. I wasn’t sure what should i add under plugin settings just the path of forum @moot.it or https://www.moot.it/myforumname, so tried the both options. Anyway if i use the shortcode it doesn’t make sense, but only shows the shortcode text on the page while publishing?
