just updated to 5.5 and Motopress Slider stopped working.
Even the buttons in the WP backend not working anymore (like ‘create slider’ button).

Not sure if this is a theme bug.

I have a slider with 3 slides. Works great. But on one slide, I want a video to play and that too works great on desktop. Of course the videos don’t play on mobile (iPhone for example) so I want to have an image display instead on mobile.

Is that possible? I can’t seem to figure it out.

It is sufficient to have a Subscriber role to change any slider and any slide.

I don’t think this is wanted and should be fixed immediately!

I like this plug-in and its great multi-features. I would like to display a full screen slider on my homepage. So I created a slider with a couple of slides, texts and buttons. However it does not show up on my page.
I have installed WP version 4.9.5.
I went through the support thread and I noticed that other users had the same problem in the past but their requests seem to be resolved, that is why I created this new post.
I hope you can help me.

In my plugins it shows: MotoPress Slider: Your License Key is not active. Please, activate your License Key to get plugin updates

So if I activate the license key, nothing happens. What can I do?

After updating the create button / import&export buttons were not working.

I solved this by going into the js folder and changing the “Function.js” filename to “function.js” –>>> NO CAPITAL “F”.

some servers may not like capitals…

I have created 4 slides all with background video content. They look and work well the first time they run but on subsequent run they don’t play or play only a small part of the video.

My test site is here: https://kbmresourcing.com.gridhosted.co.uk/ decent server / bandwidth and no streaming restrictions according to the hosting provider.

I wonder if I am doing anything drastically wrong?!

If you are able to take a look for me I would be very grateful!

However, I notice that there are no Show Controls, Autoplay, and Posters options in Video Tab. Could you add them? Oh and should it Mute Video or Mute Audio? ??
