Hey guys, thanks for this awesome plugin!
I’ve created a horizontal scrolling section by a “window.addEventListener” on wheel and using “window.scrollBy” method with “evt.deltaY” as value: is there a way I can go through for having the same smooth scroll in this section as in other vertical scroll pages?

]]>Hi ??
Firstly, I’d like to express my appreciation for your plugin; it has been a fantastic addition to my site. However, I’ve run into a problem related to the functionality of anchor links on pages that contain them. When users click on these anchor links, which are supposed to lead to specific sections of the page, the expected smooth scrolling behavior is not occurring. Instead, the page is immediately jumping to the respective section without the smooth transition.
It’s worth noting that this issue only arises when your plugin is active. When I deactivate the plugin, the smooth scrolling works perfectly, as the Breakdance page builder (which I am also using) seems to have its own smooth scrolling feature that functions correctly.
Given this situation, I am wondering if there’s a way to resolve this conflict. Specifically, is it possible to disable or adjust the part of your plugin that is interfering with the anchor link smooth scrolling? My goal is to retain the benefits of your plugin while also ensuring a seamless user experience, particularly in terms of navigation through anchor links.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your guidance on resolving this issue.
]]>im using this plugin for a long time, in the website ive installed it and worked fine. after i pushed the site to staging mode and then pushed to live the plugin stopped working, my host says its a problem with the plugin.
thanks for the support.
]]>I am trying to disable (turn off) plugin on specific pages but with no luck so far with my custom function:
add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘dequeue_mousewheel_smooth_scroll’ );
function dequeue_mousewheel_smooth_scroll() {
if ( is_page_template( ‘landing-page.php’ ) ) {
wp_dequeue_script( ‘mousewheel-smooth-scroll’ );
}
}
Any idea how to do that?
]]>Hey! Hello & have a nice day. I can clearly see that your plugin is working on some websites, but for some reasons even with standart settings don’t want to work with mine. I use touchpad on macbook pro & how i said – your plugin works on websites which you uploaded here as demonstration. Again – for some reasons don’t want to do it on mine)

Just we can scrolling if we use the arrow in the scroll bar.
]]>Hello,
Great plugin. I have been using it for a while and had no issues. However i have an issue with safari now. It just stopped working after updating a page on the site. Works fine on chrome.
It has done something odd on safari where scrolling is now very jittery. This happens when the plugin is active and deactivated.
Any Suggestions?
]]>Hey, I installed this plugin on https://youngfinance.no/. First off it disabled all scrolling in my elementor builder as well as the scrolling on the actual website. So i decided to deactivate and delete the plugin, but scrolling is still disabled in my elementor builder.
For now scrolling works on my website, but whenever i update the site from the builder the scrolling disables. i would really like to resolve this major issue. any suggestions?
]]>Great job but the plugin doesn’t seem to work now with Firefox.

]]>Hi kubiq
Thanks for creating this great plugin.
I see that a lot of people are really benefitting from it.
However, I don’t know how many different settings I’ve tried and it always seems to have the same effect, i.e. relatively fast scrolling and jumpy (big chunks), so it makes it quite strenuous on the eye when scrolling through my website’s pages.
I’m trying to get a simple, yet readable scroll effect something like the following site (but maybe even better/smoother):
https://www.thewaynorth.eu/
If you have any advice I’d very much appreciate it!
]]>Hi,
I’ve installed plugin and it works fine only in chrome. With Safari and firefox is not working fine.

]]>Hi! I’ve been using your plugin on different sites for a long time, I really like it. But now, the plugin is not working… does not respond to changes in settings. Can you help me find out what the problem might be?
]]>I installed this plugin for a client. Then i removed it on demand. But now when i click on links in the main menu. The page gets black. Even i unistalled it but still the site is not working.
My client is angry on me. please help.
The website having issues is shown in the url below. After unistalling the plugin when i click on the link and inspect the webpage i find this div with id=”swipebox-overlay” i dont know how to remove it, even i uninstalled plugin.
]]>Hi! I love the effect, but although I choose them in the list of allowed browsers, the plugin has no effect on Safari and Firefox. Any Idea why?
]]>I couldnt find the best settings for my site its always laggy.
Can anyone please tell me the best standard settings that just gives smooth scroll.
Thanks
Any chance we can modify this plugin to scroll 100% of screen height rather than px for the step size?
So basically set the step size in percentage rather than pixels?
Thanks
]]>Hi,
after i’ve updated slider revolution plugin to the latest version v6.1.2, the mousewheel smooth scroll stop working on the section where a have youtube video in slider on homepage. Before updte i used slider revolution v 5.4.8.3 and everything works well.
page is nw.erfolg.sk
thanks for reply.
tomas
I like this plugin and it works great on chrome so far.
my only issue is how to i get it to stop scrolling after I’m not touching the mouse wheel?
Its very hard to scroll to a spot on the page without the plugin always scrolling past where I want to go, when I offset with the mousewheel going the other direction, it just does the same thing
I’ve messed with all the settings and cant narrow it down.
Will there be a hard stop setting that reacts live when you stop moving the mouse wheel? Seems like that is what it needs, or I’m not adjusting a setting right….
great plugin though ??
]]>I got it to work by having it load the full js instead of minified version and by changing line 365 in SmoothScroll.js…
from: “if (isTouchpad(deltaY)) {”
to: “if (!isSafari&&isTouchpad(deltaY)) {“
Currently this plugin don′t work with Firefox.
But this can easily implemented in SmoothScroll.js.
There is already a pull request for the script:
https://github.com/gblazex/smoothscroll-for-websites/pull/72
Hope this can be added to this plugin.
]]>This plugin works as intended if I use the keyboard arrow keys for scrolling. It, however, does not affect the mouse scroll wheel at all.
]]>Hey Kubiq, there is no effect any more on latest WP.
Can you please fix this?
Many thanks for greatest plugin!
