This plugin worked fine until I upgraded to 3.9. It broke the whole multisite install.
It’s a shame, this was a handy plugin.
]]>I downloaded this plugin and network activated but don’t see it anywhere in the dashboard. I must be missing it.
I am running WP3.5, which I noticed someone else is having an issue with.
]]>Does not create network wide text widgets. How to do this?
]]>There is no text widget with this plugin.
]]>If you have wp 3.5 then this plugin is not working anymore. it keeps asking to activate the pluging..
]]>There is a major problem with this plugin, may be wrong class name or creation of an object for invalid class, unable to activate, giving fatal error:
“Fatal error: Class ‘muwidgets_default’ not found in F:\wamp\www\myprog\wordpressdemo\wp-content\plugins\mu-widgets\library\base\application.php on line 118”
This is issue is still unanswered and not fixed. Please fix it asap.
Also, let me know the quick fix if any, so that I can run it on my blogs.
On Windows + XAMPP this is the error message when tying to activate:
Fatal error: Class ‘muwidgets_default’ not found in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\mu-widgets\library\base\application.php on line 118
I echo $controller varibale and i found “C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\mu-widgets/library/wordpress\controllers\default.php” where there are mixing Directory separators. I presume this is due to the use of DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.
]]>Hi! Thank you for your MUWidgets plugin. It’s very useful for multi-site WP.
But I’ve got some troubles using “other-site” widgets via MUWidgets plugin.
When I’m putting any “Site” Widget (e.g. Site Links of main blog) in sidebar all other usual WP widgets (e.g. usual Links of Recent Comments) that go on sidebars after Site Links still show items from “other” (main) site.
Another odd behavior is top admin bar switching to “other-site” too when there is any Site widget on Sidebars or even among Unactive Widgets.
And one more bug is loosing all or some widgets on side bar in admin area. Widgets saved and work on site but when returning to Widget Admin Page it showes empty side bars or some widgets missed.
It started to happen on WP 3.2.1 and stil happens after upgrade to WP 3.3 and mu-widget upgrade to latest vesion
WBR, Andrey
]]>First off, great plugin! Just wondering if you were going to add support for custom categories etc that are being used in a lot of newer themes.
