Hi! I’m using the Multilanguage plugin to translate the site of a client to 3 languages.

1. Dutch
2. English
3. German

Now we’ve ran in the following issue.

We’re able to translate every page and content correctly, but we’re not able to translate our header and footer. We’re using patterns for this that we edit by Appearence -> Editor.

In the top left there is no option to switch language. How are we supposed to change the language? Right now we’re thinking about adding the header and footer on every page manually, but that is not a good solution.

Multilanguage by BestWebSoft makes me an issue with Gutemberg Caroussel : My posts are translated in 3 languages but appear on on the front side in the caroussel of the homepage (also translated in 3 languages) always in the latest updated language of the post (even on the other language of the homepage).

Example : homepage in english : post appears in the caroussel in english although it exists in english

The categories used to query the post in the caroussel are also well tranlated in 3 languages.

I have the multilanguage switcher installed in the mobile off canvas menu, however it does not allow user to change languages. I also tried using the widget in the header, like on desktop version, but it does not generate the code and will not appear.

I have a problem at a website from a friend.

The website is created in two languages (not by me) and I should take over the maintenance.

The Multilanguage by BestWebSoft plugin is installed and the pages are displayed correctly in the front end.

The problem is that I can’t edit the English text in the backend. If I go to the English language, only the German text is still displayed.

Is it a known problem or does it not work at all with the DIVI theme?
Everything is up to date WP 6.4.2 / PHP 8.1

I started using Multilanguage by BestWebSoft for the first time today on my WordPress site. Could successfully create bilingual versions of 3 of the main pages but cannot do so for the remaining pages. Every-time I try, following the same process, the new language text is overwritten by the default language after pressing “Update”. I have tried clearing history, logging out and back in, resetting cache, and several other things but the problem persists.

Examples of bilingual pages working as expected:

After installing this plugin my widget area in Appearance freezes and I can’t add or edit widgets.

I am still able to edit my widgets in the footer and in the header, but I can’t add new ones or edit the ones I prepared and didn’t add to the site yet.

Widgets appear on the pages front-end so visitors can see them, the problem is in Appearance only.

Is there any fix to this in the pipeline? I like your plugin and I’d like to use it but like this it isn’t possible.

For more details, I use Kadence theme on WordPress 6.3.

Hi All,
I am using paid version of Multilanguage plugin here I am facing issue
When I update any page or Post with new language slug URL saving as blank, due to that we are not able to view the page.

Looking forward help here to solve the issue.

6 Different languages are active as of now, But we want few pages to be available only in a few counties, How we can disable the link of the page for the county in which we don’t want to display the page?

Hello I’m using theme “visual composer starter”, using wp version 6.1.1.
and I have 2 languages: English as a default and Bahasa Indonesia for second language.
In home if I change to Bahasa Indonesia multilanguage not work properly. But if I click the Home menu is work. Because before it was working fine.
I think any different flow for the change language in default page for Bahasa Indonesia. how to resolve this?

I have a site in English that I want to automatically translate into other languages based on navigator language of the user’s browser, i.e if their browser is in German – translate from English to German, if browser language is French, English to French and so on. I don’t want the user to have to select language translation from a drop-down, but just have it translated according to their preferred browser language settings.

Further more I would like the language switcher not to be displayed.

Is it possible with Multilanguage by BestWebSoft please?

Beyond this, please do you know if Multilanguage by BestWebSoft translates absolutely everything, i.e. also the words and pages introduced by other plugins?

Hello, this is best and native way for translation on tabs. I like this approach from Qtranslate. I`m using WCFM multivendor platform and will be great to integrate something like this for my vendors on frontend.
Do you think about to make it WCFM compatible someday? For now only way is WPML but it is hard for my vendors.

I can not add multiple menus for the multiple languages because I did not find the multiple location options as shown in the screenshot. but no other options are appearing on my end.

I am trying to add translation to a post page which uses only classic editor and I am unable to do so. This post feature is available through a paid theme I already purchased. Can you please let me know whether there is any way to add translations manually or using code (or maybe using directly phpmyadmin)? I am only trying to translate simple text inside a post.
I am currently using the free version of Multilanguage.

I have bought your paid plugin but its not working.

1) Design of the plugin in the admin panel is broken.

2) Choose language appear when page load but after fully load of choose language option got disappear because of this I am not able to add languages.

I installed your plugin. It is working fine. But it is translating only a few texts.

So please let me know if it will translate fully in paid version or not.

And one another thing I want to know if there is an option to set that if a customer is visiting my website from any other country, then the website should be translated to their local language according to the customer country.

Now, I want to know one more thing. If this plugin support RTL languages like “Urdu”.

How I can remove slash in end of url? Plugin set in home url slash / after language code, but on other pages everything is fine.

Now I have url site.com/de/, but I need site.com/de

If I put code in htaccess for removing slash

RewriteRule (.+)/$ /$1 [L,R=301]

then I get infinite redirects and loading error.

when I install this plugin it throws this notice and I can not change the main menus. so the default menus is showing in my site I have tried to change it but it does not work.

Hi,

I just installed the plugin and tried to manually translate a few posts, but I couldn’t save any of them. When I press the update button, either an error occurs or nothing happens depending on the post type.

I made sure to enter titles and bodies and didn’t leave anything blank.

Here’s the details:

Theme: Hestia and Twenty twenty (tried both)
WordPress version 5.7.2
Enabled plugins:
– Multilanguage by BestWebSoft
– Block Editor For WooCommerce
– WooCommerce
– WordPress Importer

When I update a post or a page, I get an error saying “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response” and the post/page can’t be saved. When I try to update a WooCommerce product, I don’t get an error message but the product isn’t saved even if I press the update button (the page reloads and it says that the product has been updated, but it’s not updated).

I tried saving on the “Hestia” and “Twenty twenty” themes, but the results were exactly the same.

The features of this plugin seems really cool and I hope the issue will be resolved soon. I would like to translate my WooCommerce products with this plugin (although it might not support products).

Each time I want to edit a page/blog post, I would need to wait about 2 minutes for the loading time to lapse before the full edit page/post load.

После добавлении более одного языкового пакета (Русский, English, ???????) сайт завис до бесконечности (долгая загрузка и в итоге “страница не доступна), также не работают ваши другие плагины, вызывают ошибки на ошибке. В чем же проблема?

I solved this problem to add in multilanguage/multilanguage.php in line 500:
session_write_close();
like below and the problem is solved because the session is closed at the end of the function.

Can you check this?

I have tried many settings, but the default language is always wrong, …, I have set Deutsch, (German), de_DE as default in the backend, also this one in the config.php again, nothing helps.
This is probably the reason why the translation doesn’t work properly(?), I currently have French and Spanish allowed in the backend.
How do I really get German as default language?

Hello, i would like to ask you, i installed Multilanguage by BestWebSoft, and i also have a YOOtheme. I have website in Czech and want to translate it in English and Russian. Everything is ok, plugin is working and menu is ok, but when i change a page (text-content) in czech, it also change the content in english and russian… I can’t understand where is a problem, could you please advise me something? Thank you very much!

It might be that I’m just absurdly blind, but I can’t seem to find where I choose what menu should be shown, based on the current language?

Edit: I think I’ve found out that this is only possible in the pro-version of the plugin?

My Menu for both language looks like horizontal.
So it′s written Deutsch and English (uk).
How is it possible to shorten Deutsch to DE and English to EN.?

Is this Plugin compatible with Siteorigin page Builder?
In my testpage the pages which are build with the siteorigin page builder are not translated in the second language.

Without PageBuilder ist work′s.

Maybe soneone has a solution.
