i like the plugin and got it running well so far.
What i am wondering is, how can i set the domain to use www. ?

E.G. i have mapped https://www.myprojectdomain.de to /myproject.

When i open it up in the Browser, https://myprojectdomain.de. I would like it to be https://www.myprojectdomain.de.

How can i acchieve this?

contracks.ai is mapped to philly.pepsmedia.nl.

contracks.ai/wp-login.php is mapped to https://philly.pepsmedia.nl/wp-login.php
but does not work and gets redirected to https://philly.pepsmedia.nl/wp-login.php. Any ideas?

Hello dear developers of Multiple Domain Mapping on single site plugin. Please advise on the settings. installed the plugin in the first field wrote the second domain to display the content of the first domain (the original, on which the site is made). And the first page is displayed correctly on both domains. https://travent.ru and https://travent-dubai.ae. But if you go to other pages, such as https://travent.ru/ and then for example projects/ then automatically redirects to the second connected domain https://travent-dubai.ae/projects/. And by design, each page of the site should be displayed in each of the two domains.

I setup correctly the plugin following the install instructions.
I have a main domain: https://joinso.cat
and now I buy a setup a new domain: https://joinso.cloud

I want that https://joinso.cloud points to a landing page in the main domain: https://joinso.cat/cloud

The domains are working properly:

https://joinso.cat/test.txt
https://joinso.cloud/test.txt

Also I defined this in wp_config.php to work properly when using the two domains:

define(‘WP_HOME’, ‘https://’ . $_SERVER[‘HTTP_HOST’]);

Also SSL certificate are loading properly.

When I try to load https://joinso.cloud, redirects to https://joinso.cloud/cloud and I get a 404 error.
So, I am missing something?
Also, If i can get this working I want that https://joinso.cloud loads the content of https://joinso.cat/cloud but without change the url https://joinso.cloud in browser.

Firstly, thank you for creating this plugin.

Secondly, is it possible to set up a new country-level domain to display the content of an existing country-level domain. For example, mapping https://domain.au to the current https://domain.uk website?

I have set this up, but it just redirects to the original domain.

My A record is pointing to the same server, and in cPanel the domain is pointed to the folder containing the other country level domain content (WP install).

As I want users from Australia to see the same content at https://domain.au as UK users do at https://domain.uk. And will use Ultimate Elementor to display content based on geolocation, as per details at https://ultimateelementor.com/docs/display-conditions-geolocation/

I’m testing the plugin in https://wp.contaure.com.br and my mapping domains are:

– https://experience.contaure.com.br -> https://wp.contaure.com.br/subdominio/
– https://wpnapratica.com.br -> https://wp.contaure.com.br/landing-page/

The first one is working, but the second not. It’s returning DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE. I printed the screens to show my setup at WordPress and cPanel.

If you check the IP address of both domains (contaure.com.br and wpnapratica.com.br), you will see the same IP.

Hi, I have an issue with the homepage (all other subpages are working). The primary domain, which is (example): mysite.com, is not redirecting to 2site.com/new. The page redirections work fine for mysite.com/page, but not for mysite.com – it redirects inconsistently with the plugin information, directing to the domain 2site.com instead of 2site.com/page. I’m struggling with this and wondering if you could help?

Is it possible to use the plugin to maintain the apacdnsforum.id page as a separate domain that mirrors the .asia Event Page? For example: I’d like the event page to have a button that, when clicked, directs users to the original link rather than the mirror site that was set up for it.

We do not want “redirection” because we want the apacdnsforum.id text to remain in the search bar when users access the Asia Event page.

If yes, how can this be achieved, and do you have any other suggestions?

I’m potentially interested in using this plugin for a website but one point I am not clear on is with regard to logins, would I be able to login from both the main domain and the domain that is being mapped? Or would I only be able to login on the main domain?

I have done everything, and added to dns data and added alias subdomain, and test.txt works, and I use native theme wordpress, and do not use any programs for caching. But when I add in Domain mappings product category and subdomain on which to show this category, on this subdomain shows the main page of the site from where the product category should take. the main page from the main domain shows on the subdomain with the plugin on or off, nothing changes. Who has encountered such a thing, what could I miss and do wrong?

Sometimes it would be very useful to setup different mappings to the same target. Just think about some legal pages. In this case all landingpages could link to the same target (domain.de/impressum)

Currently i can set only one mapping to the same target. This is ok to prevent duplicate content, but there is no way to bypass it.

Howdy. We are wanting to upgrade to PHP 8.1 on our WordPress site; however, we get a “Critical Error” only on the mapped domain when we do so. Screen shot: https://prnt.sc/1Vi3QJTc81l-

The rest of the site runs fine on PHP 8.1. We have verified this on both our staging and live sites, multiple browsers, multiple machines. We are using Enfold Premium theme. The plugin works normally at PHP 7.4, but with 8.1 it breaks.

I just want to share that mapping entire custom post type to new domain is easy. Just set in redirection slug of the cpt e.g.
main domain => /post-slug
And add this filter to functions.php or plugin, to fix for new home page of custom posts, which has slug e.g. homepage-slug :

We are trying to make ANPAMILLA.GAL fully work as an alias of ANPADOIESDOMILLADOIRO.COM (main domain, where the WordPress blog was firstly installed). And now we can use inner URLs like https://anpamilla.gal/hazte-socio/ as an alternative to https://www.anpadoiesdomilladoiro.com/hazte-socio/

But when we try to browse directly to https://anpamilla.gal it just jumps and redirects to https://www.anpadoiesdomilladoiro.com (and we definitely DON’T want that, but the shorter domain name to be kept at navigation bar).

Or could it be something related to Polylang automatic language recognition and jumping?

As far as I know, there is no cache acting, both at client and server side, but I cannot be 100% sure!

my general question would be how does this plugin work with google search results and structured data. I want to map domain A to an existing landingpage on a different domain B. I dont want to set up a seperate wordpress. But if I google for the domain A the result is missing the site name (the name above the URL) and will display the URL twice. Is there an easy fix for this?

I tried adding structured data in the multidomain plugin Custom html <head>-Code?but alas no win there. The Site on domain Bs landingpage has a single unique title and even og:title.

In the description of the plugin you write that there are no multiple sitemaps yet. Is there anything being planned, because that would really be an important expansion

First of all, thanks for this great plugin! Unfortunately I’m struglling with images right now. The images on the page are not visible (empty frame) on the mapping domain. Strange is that right click on the empty frame and view image in another tab works fine. I tried several steps to solve it but without success.

• Disable cache (Litespeed)
• Disable all plugings (except Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site)

What we need is the following: we have several shops in with wordpress multisite.
Then there is “single cart checkout” acticate in WPglobal Cart, meaning no matter in which shop the customer checks out –> he is redirected to a “master shop” for the checkout.

On this checkout page I disabled the header etc. so it looks neutral – but the URL does not look it should.

What I mean:
Shop A: The customer puts a product in the cart and goes to the checkout. The checkout URL is “www.shop-main” and not, like it should be “www.shop-a”

Shop B: The customer puts a product in the cart and goes to the checkout. The checkout URL is “www.shop-main” and not, like it should be “www.shop-b”

So my question is: Does your plugin allow me to show the customer “www.shop-a” when he comes from Shop A and “www.shop-b” when he comes from Shop b ? (Even thought the real site he is on is always “www.shop-main” ?

If so, is this possible with the free version?

I have your plugin installed in the dev instance of my website. The configuration is this:

Primary site: dev.mywpsite.com
Subdomain: dev-test.mywpsite.com

I added one mapping so that going to https://dev-test.mywpsite.com maps to https://dev.myspsite.com/test-category

This works perfectly. The only issue is that the posts on that page link to https://dev.mywpsite.com/test-category/subdomain-test-post/ instead of https://dev-test.mywpsite.com/subdomain-test-post/

Is this intended behavior? I expected the link URLs to have the new subdomain in them. My theme’s content-archive.php is using get_permalink(). Any idea what I can do to maintain the subdomain while clicking links? Thank you!

Hi, so I have deactivated the plugin at the moment, but when it was working, it did the main job perfectly. A subdomain of my site went to the archive for a custom post type. No problem, great. Preface. All the issues Im having are URLs that are the main domain URLs. All subdomain URLs work perfectly.

I was looking for documentation on this but I couldnt find any. I seem to have some kind of redirect issue with https & going from a naked URL to a www. subdomain URL.

Going from naked URL to a www. subdomain the redirect happens correctly, however instead of a 301 – redirect, the status code sent back is 200. Im not sure how or why. The easiset why I found to showcase the issue is through an iFrame. the same url in two separate iFrames one naked and one without.

Check out the example, maybe its an issue with my config, Im not sure.

Great plugin. How many domain name mappings could I add to link to the same page?

Each time I add a domain that maps to the same page it deletes it when I click on save mappings.

Previously I was:

1. Create subdomain on Cpanel server.
2. Set DNS for Subdomain on the domain name server.
3. Install your Plugin and set it up according to the instructions.
   I am a technician and I believe I have done the above steps well, maybe the problem is in my website.
