Hi
I’m a newbie and I’m using the Multiple Galleries in my Wp website. My website has only pages and no posts. I’ve installed the plugin in WP 3.5.1 and since then there are two things I cannot fix.
1. I’ve selected to display pictures in an attachment page, but despite it, pictures show up in a POST instead of a PAGE. Is there a way to fix it?
2. I’ve reduced the pictures’ sizes, but they always show up in a very large format. I mean, if I have a 200×200 pixel or a 4000×4000 pixel doesn’t make any difference for the plugin since the picture is always displayed in a full page width. How can I fix it?

Image and white squares

Hello all,

On our site: https://www.ashotofbrandy.com we are experiencing a double white square on a picture. This only happens when we upload multiple pictures. It seems to only happen on AOL browsers, which I believe utilizes IE. I could be wrong, it could be viewed on others as well, I just happen to notice it when Brandy mentioned it to me.

Any idea why this is happening?

Small thumbnails not showing

Hi there,
Thanks for the plugin. Everything works perfectly for my needs other than one thing. When I go to insert media to a post or page from the ‘media library’ tab then the small thumbnail that is normally visible for each image (prior to pressing the ‘show’ link) is not visible. When I deactivate the plugin it returns.

Any help with this would be a real help. Many thanks,

Hi. This is great. I like that it just uses WP core functionality ( https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Gallery_Shortcode ).

However, for many images, it’s a bit cumbersome to select them one-by-one. Is there a way to enable “shift-click” to select multiple images in a row?

Hi, I have installed this plugin, but it seems not to work.
I can select multiple checkboxes and insert galleries.

When I display the HTML version of the page, I see these shortcodes:

Galery 1:[gallery link="file" include="36, 37"]
Galery 2:[gallery   include="36"   link="file"]

but when I display the page I see both files in both galleries. How is this possible?

Hi,

I came across this addon since it does exactly what I need at the moment. Actually it works very nice, but only if the WYSIWYG editor is enabled. I normally usw the HTML editor and have the other one disabled in my profile, but then this addon failes to load (editor = w.tinymce … is nil) and the thumbnails are missing. If I enable the editor (even if I then use the HTML one) it works fine.

Any way to “fix” this ? Thanks

When rich-text-tags galleries plugin is active, there is some problem with media lybrary in category edit wysiwyg screen – we loosing possobility to toggle describe-toggle-on link. it’s simsed like rich-text-tags galleries changing classes names and js loosing possobility to find out through the DOM target address. I’ll cross-post it to the rich-text-tags plugin page too.

The 0.4.1 version doesn’t work anymore with WordPress 3.2.1.
With editor in text mode: No checkboxes, no ‘Show’ and no thumbnails of the images.
With editor in HTML mode: No checkboxes only.

I can not find other plugins that cause this problem. Could it be version 1.6.3 of jQuery causing this problem?

Hello,
When working on a clients site I noticed that the ‘add image from URL’ options box (for both single image and gallery) appears totally blank since the installation of the Multiple Galleries plugin.
After further investigation I found this error:
‘attr(…)’ is null or not an object Line: 42 Char: 3 Code: 0 in multiple-galleries/multiple-galleries.js?ver=3.2

As I can’t read PHP or javascript I’m not sure how to go about fixing the problem.

When I add media from the existing images uploaded to the server, the thumbnails do not show, and when I click the ‘Show’ text, nothing happens.

It is indeed the plugin, as I deactivated it and was able media worked as usual. I have the latest version of MG too.

If you have many images in the post you are likely to see this issue.
I had a case when:
Gallery 1 – image 1 – id=10
Gallery 2 – image 2 – id=110

But when I’ve opened the Gallery setup window from Gallery 1 both files were marked as selected.
this was caused due to the use of indexOf() JS function.

I’ve changed multiple-galleries.js as follow:

line 6:
var $include = '', $is_update = false, $is_checked, $include_arr;

line 36 – added:
$include_arr = $include.split(", ");

replaced:
if ($include != null && $include.indexOf($imgid) != -1)
with:
if ($include_arr != null && jQuery.inArray($imgid, $include_arr) != -1)

And that’s it – problem solved!

Hope you will fix this in the next release.

i’ve uploades some images to the “Media library” … but now i can’t create gallery?!?

How to select images for gallery on my page or post?
There are nowhere checkboxes you describe in multiple-galleries/readme.txt and there is also nowhere an button ‘Insert Gallery’ when trying to insert image/gallery from page or post.

I was already using multiple galleries by using the shortcode like this: [gallery include="477, 463, 462, 461, 459, 460, 458, 457, 456, 455, 454, 453, 452, 476, 451" link="file" order="DESC" columns="5"]

and when I found your plugin I was happy because I would no longer have to manually type the attachment numbers into the include part but only now have I realized that when your plugin is active, the normal gallery insertion shortcode stops working. Codes like this don’t work anymore ??

can this be fixed? I love being able to check which pictures to include but if I don’t include any specific images I’d like all attachments to be shown as is the default with wordpress.

It appears that when both of these plug-ins are activated (deactivated ALL others, so definetely these two), The Show / Hide link of the ‘Set Featured Image’ / ‘Add an Image’ feature of the admin is broken…it doesn’t expand / collapse.

JavaScript Error is:
w = wpgallery.getWin();

Gravity Forms is a paid-for Plug-in, and it says that a later version is available…but it appears I can’t upgrade it, even though I’ve got a key.
