With the customization of the menus in the newer wordpress versions, this plugin is redundant now. It was a saving grace though, when ordering your pages was an uphill battle, back in the day.

A feature that should be native to WordPress

I just used this plugin to sort 500 pages (the contents of an e-book) – worked like a charm and saved me hours of time. This plugin does one thing – page ordering – and it does it well.
Love the way that it lets you step through your page hierarchy and sort the pages as you go.

This plug-in simply does not work since an upgrade from WordPress 3.0 to 3.5.1 There doesn’t seem to be any documentation that indicates it is supported any longer.

My initial tests on a BuddyPress install showed that it worked on the main blog (id 1). After dragging and dropping then hitting [Click to Order Pages] I checked the ‘order number’ on each page, and sure enough it worked. I agree with the author though that it ought to be part of the core. Reordering pages is essential for a BuddyPress install and the current method is 1998 compatible.

Has no effect on the order of pages displayed in frontend of a multisite installation.
