Malware Warning:
This plugin may have been compromised (I’m referring to the recent mass-password reset bit.)
I installed myPortfolio plus on my site via wp-admin/plugin-install.php, but I got interrupted and didn’t get round to creating any content with it, so the plugin remained in an “install only” state. The next day a security email arrived with the notice quoted below.
It seems the plugin automatically created “JspWebshell 1.2.php” and “Copie de c99.php” in the wp-content folder root and the 2 malware files was detected by Websitedefender. This was also confirmed through a few Google searches that I ran on the file names.
I urge the author to check and confirm the zip on www.ads-software.com is verified malware clean.

]]>I have a small problem. I activated the plugin on my site, but got this error immediately after I activated –

I logged into my FTP server and checked for the directory (/uploads/webimages/) that was supposed to be created, but it wasn’t there – so I created it myself and assigned it with read & write access. Can you help me figure this out since I am testing this on my demo site prior to installing it on my live site?
Second, when I try to view the demo site with the plugin active, the site doesn’t load. I only get a black page. I don’t know if this related to the error that I am getting or something else that might be wrong.
