It seems the plugin My Book Table creates a rewrite problem with the PolyLang plugin.

The above website has been made multilingual with PolyLang and since then, My Book Table plugin keeps alerting me that the plugin is conflicting.

After a search, it seemd that the PolyLang plugin is not compatible with My Book Table plugin.

Any bug updates for this? As selling books is a multilingual thing on the internet.

I made my site multilingual with polylang plugin.

The landingpage of my website is staticly set to My Book Table. So if you land on my website: My Book Table page in Dutch is immediatly visible.

All went well, until i had to make an English transtlation of My Book Table page. One way or another i am not succeding in getting a 2nd My Book Table page for my english translation on my website.

As you can see i am not succeding in getting My Book Table and the books and all the information in. Can anyone help me, and inform me if there is a short code or other way to get the second page in English with My Book Table up and running multilingual?

Tried premium support and nobody is replying.

When attempting to sort books using the “Sort Option” it doesn’t load. I figured I’d add and sort them manually (painful for hundreds of books.) Then I realized the sort page is no longer showing books I add. Without this feature, the whole plugin is useless. What happened to the sort feature? Why is it not loading properly?

The plugin keeps deleting endorsements, doesn’t show SBA as a button option anymore, doesn’t use my custom button background for the Universal Button option & keeps messing up the order of sections after I’ve customized them. I’ve contacted multiple times about things not working & haven’t gotten a single answer via email, so I’m trying here.

I keep getting the error message : Invalid License Key: Unable to connect to server!

I have the following plugins : MyBookTable Bookstore version 3.5.2

And : MyBookTable Professional Upgrade 3.0 version 3.3.7

I reinstalled the upgrade plugin, then was told to confirm in an email I wasn’t a bot. When I clicked on the button it said that : Verification link not valid. Maybe you already confirmed it previously?

Can someone help?

Unfortunately, MBT 3.5.0 isn’t allowing us to save any Amazon links. On update or publish, it refreshes the page, and it’s back to “choose one” under “buy buttons.”

I’ve tested this on several live sites with the developer upgrade, as well as a blank staging site with a fresh install of the free plugin.?

I keep getting this although the plugin works well.

The sell button for the Lulu bookstore shows the text “pre-order”. It should just show “Lulu”. Can I/you change it?

Installed plugin . Went to add book. did isbn search . Found book. Now how to I import that book found and have it populate the relevant fields?

MyBookTable automatically updated to v 3.3.6 and took my site down. Visitors got an error message and I couldn’t log it. My host was able to move me back to 3.3.5 and everything is working fine.

I have just installed the MyBookTable plugin on my wordpress.com site. I’m using WP 6.4.2 in Safari on a Mac. For books that don’t have Kindle versions, the preview link at the bottom of the page does not work. I receive this message: “We’re sorry. This preview is unavailable.” Is there a way to get “Preview” to function for the print version? OR, is there a way to REMOVE “Preview” from the page? Thanks!

I need to add links and images to the authors description field. is there a hack that I can change that field from a text area to a text editing field?

The book page displays only the details of the primary author. But many books do not have a primary author. They were written by an equal team. IT would be great to display all authors in the given order. Is there a setting for it, or can I easily update the theme. It should not be difficult: just a loop over all authors and calling the display function.

I’ve been using MBT Pro for years, but the main landing page for books is suddenly refusing to open. Genre and individual book pages load, but the breadcrumb link back to the main page doesn’t work, as well as all links in menus. Google PageSpeed Insights wasn’t able to load it and suggested it wasn’t a valid URL, despite it being used for years w/o issue. Nothing on the back end is out of sorts that I can see.

I updated to WP 6.3.1 recently. Perhaps that’s the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am working on a site that uses this plugin and the owner would like to add a sidebar showing featured authors to the Book Table Page. The site is also running WooCommerce and using the Avada theme, however while both of these allow for sidebar widgets to be specified, neither of these will allow for a sidebar to display on the book table page itself. Would there by any chance be any custom code I could use to allow for a sidebar widget to display on the book table page, or is there an alternative method that you know of I could try?

8 books from demo listed. Nothing showing anywhere other than the self generated page listing all items.

How can I display items pls, when shortcodes are not working? If thisp lugin is no longer supported could someone suggest an alternative for me?? Thank You.

My wordpress theme Dicot was retired and so I have tried choosing other WP themes. My individual book table pages no longer show up, only the main books page. I have tried resetting each book page to Draft, then republishing, but to no avail. I tried building a new book page, but that didn’t show up either. Is this an issue with all WP themes, and do I have to reinstall and rebuild my entire bookstore?? Not sure this is worth it!

I would like to add the Book Table page listing all my books to my menu. It doesn’t show up as something I can select, but I assume I can add it through the custom link option. However,

MAIN QUESTION: When I go to the Book Table Page, it is showing comments that were left on entirely unrelated blog posts at the bottom. How can comments be removed from the Page AND how can comments be disabled on this page without disabling them on my blog?

This is for a wordpress.com site but the only support I can find for the My Book Table plugin is on www.ads-software.com so I would appreciate your help.

So I am wanting to create a list of our authors, so that people can scroll through and see what they would like. Currently I have been doing it as a grid creating a an image and linking to their author page. This takes a long time and doesn’t automatically update as we add authors.

I am aware of [mybooktable list=”authors”] my this doesn’t put the authors in grids, and kind of over fills the page with too much information. Is there a way to list the authors in a kind of grid with just their face and author name below, maybe with option for selecting a letter of the alphabet to easily find an author?

I have looked at addons which list out categories which the authors sometime come under however, their author photos do not appear under this section with them.

Hi, I want to see (and possibly edit) the MyBookTable data directly.
Why? Because I have over 200 titles and I know that many of the buttons are outdated or even point to stores that no longer exist (such as Indiebound), or are wrong (ibooks links that now need to be books links). I’d like to be able to review the data easily (perhaps in Excel), so that I can figure out what to fix.

Since I switched to the official WordPress theme “Twenty Twenty-Two” (version 1.1 by the WordPress team) the MyBookTable plugin isn’t working properly anymore. It still shows the books in the overview, but if you click on a book or a author the page turns white and shows nothing. Is this an already known problem?

I deleted this plugin though I would like to use it. When I set this up it asked where I wanted to put it. I put my blog page, thinking it would be at the top of it, but instead it made its own page on the menu. Originally, I wanted to be on a sidebar widget but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that.

The book showed with the blurb and a black and white buy button, which when I clicked on it went to the bottom of the page and a red buy link was displayed which stated that someone was going to be paid as an affiliate if clicked and a purchase was made. I AM NOT AN AMAZON AFILLIATE AND I COULDN’T GET THIS OFF. How to make this work without any affiliate linking?
