Since I started using Nelio Content to manage social media on WordPress, I’ve saved hundreds of hours. I started with the free version on one site, then before I knew it had the plugin on many we manage. I like how social is being associated with content and at a glance I can see specific analytics.
To get access to other social media platforms, I am now a subscriber. Well worth it in the subscriptions I’m saving not having many different tools. Now I’m going through my backlog of social that I know works, loading it up with improved hashtags and links. Very easy work.
I recommend this solution for any content site who wants a cleaner social media workflow. My agency now recommends it for clients and uses it in-house. If you want specific recommendations on implementation, reach out. Thanks for the quality software.

This plugin has become an essential part of my blogging routine. With it, I can schedule posts and social media messages in advance. I also use it to assign blogging tasks to dates on my calendar. I love the fact that they have very responsive support for the paid version. When I requested that the plugin authors create a way to allow me to easily assign a new default time for new posts, they did so in their next plugin update.

I’m using the plugin for some years now after I used a competitor, but this one increased the prices heavily, had a major technical fuck-up and no compensation for an outage of several days. So it was time to switch to Nelio, and even it was a bit challenging to adapt to the differences, I’m more than happy with its features. But how good a tool and the team behind it is, often occurs just when there is a problem. Had one with the authentication for Bluesky and using custom domain handles, so I wrote to the support. On the same day I got a reply, exchanged two or three e-mails and got a very uncomplicated solution. Should be just a natural thing, but in the world we are living this was awesome!

By far, the most professional developers I came accross when it’s about a WordPress plugin. They’re quick to aknowlege issues, go into great details explaning what happened and how they fixed it. They convey a lot of trust and I wish I’ll have soon enough money to “thank them” by upgrading.

The strong point of Nelio Content is its wide array of integrations with various social media platforms. Write your post, highlight the most important sentences and the social media promotion is built automagically, much better than the alternatives. The project management capabilities are good enough for a small content team. It’d be great to have the possibility to create social media campaigns independent from posts (say, you need to promote a landing page outside of your main site) but that’s not a big blocker. Overall, I recommend Nelio Content over many other alternatives.

I’ve been using Nelio for a while now – and I’ve used quite a few “auto-posting” plugins over the years.
Where Nelio really stands out is the flexibility as well as the set of functionalities it offers that I haven’t found with any other, paid or free, plugin of this kind.
Support is amazing – I had a very specific issue related to my unique setup that was very hard to track down, but Ruth (the Co-Founder) didn’t give up until we found a solution.

I’m using Nelio Content for five sites at the moment at the features work as intended. Also, when there is an issue with Facebook the support acts fast and provides a working solution for me. Imo the best plugin out there for automatic(ish) social media posting.

They deserve an honest review and here it is.
Nelio Content works perfect and offers what I needed:
Auto-scheduling social posts is awesome. The system shares my posts on social media, and I can change the introduction with templates like: “just in case you haven’t read this…”
2. The calendar view is integrated into WordPress. Allows to reschedule content with drag and drop.
3. I, like others before me, I love the support team. The plugin developers are very friendly and go the extra mile to make sure Nelio fits you. I shared a few ideas with them, and these guys already implemented them! It really feels like they are working with my team.
4. Fair pricing, especially compared to others. I started as a free user, but I quickly switched to a premium plan. Thanks again for this awesome plugin! Absolutely I recommend Nelio. Thanks Nelio people.

I have no affiliation with Nelio Software, just want to take this out of the way because I’m so happy about Nelio Content that I will sound like a payed advocate.
Four reasons you will love it:
1) It works as promised and more. No burden to my server, the work is done on Amazon infrastructure so it’s solid. Calendars, posting timelines, plugin tools, all are loading fast and look good. After months of testing Buffer, Social Pilot, Hootsuite, Meet Edgar, Vista Social, and more, I don’t think that I found anything like Nelio Content. Marketing professionals should consider working on WordPress only because it has Nelio Content.
2) Auto-scheduling is top-notch. Clever way to generate text, easy modifications to accept shortened URLs, customizable density of generation, supports more social channels than any other solution in that cost.
3) Value for money. The price is very fair as opposed with the competition out there who sell multiple channel posting like it’s gold. You can buy the complete Adobe suite of software with 50 euros per month and most of the marketing SaaS out there costs around 60 euros per month to allow you to post to 5 social channels from a main form and no automation, ridiculous. Nelio got it right, they priced their product fairly and that’s one of the reasons I have chosen them.
4) Support. Feels like I work with my own team.

I run a small charity website for developers and I thought the free version of this plugin would be ideal as we only have a few social media channels and the occasional blog post. Worked fine for the first month then randomly stopped the auto social sharing feature which is the main purpose of the free plugin.
Essentially, the free version no longer has a purpose. Plugin developer has now reserved the auto posting for pro version only.

Si creas contenido con WordPress y necesitas un plugin para poder difundir todo el contenido, nelio es el mejor.
Si además tienes el plugin premium te ayudará todavía más, aunque en algunas ocasiones con el free ya te valga.
Merece mucho la pena la inversión del plugin, a mi me ha ahorrado mucho tiempo.

Of course they have to limit the functions of the free plugin version, but that is totally fine and allows you to at least schedule some social messages. It’s a bit buggy here and there and I always wait for the second or third update version due to a lot of bugs and errors, but recently found out that their service is really great!
