Hi I have uploaded the plugin New Facebook Pixel Plugin with Standard Events for WooCommerce.
I have followed the instructions as per this blog..
https://blog.recart.com/2016/01/05/how-to-track-facebook-pixel-events-on-woocommerce/
Then when I view a product and view content/add to cart with facebook pixel helper I get errors. Help please what have I done wrong?
]]>Plugin isn’t working…installed correctly but no go.
]]>I’m noticing that when I disable the ‘Purchase’ event on the thank you page, the ‘Pageview’ event gets added to my source code two separate times. I’m not seeing this on any other Woocommerce pages, so just curious why this might be happening. Thanks!
]]>Hi,
After running fine for 6 months, I am now seeing errors reported by FaceBook:
Missing content_type parameter from “Purchase” in *****’s Pixel
Missing content_ids parameter from “Purchase” in *****’s Pixel
Missing content_type parameter from “AddToCart” in *****’s Pixel
Missing content_ids parameter from “AddToCart” in *****’s Pixel
Using the Facebook Pixel Helper in Chrome I can see that product pages are reporting:
[OK] ViewContent
fbq(‘track’, ‘ViewContent’, {“content_ids”:336,”content_type”:”product”});
[ERROR] AddToCart
[ERROR] ViewContent
Adding to cart reports:
[OK] PageView
fbq(‘track’, ‘PageView’);
Initiating Checkout reports:
[OK] InitiateCheckout
fbq(‘track’, ‘InitiateCheckout’);
Hope this helps towards a fix.
Thanks.
]]>Hello,
thank you for this great plugin. I installed it and I clicked all the event on the setting page but the Facebook Diagnostics tells me that “AdToCard” and “Purchase” events are missing.
My site is: https://strategieart.uk
Many thanks
Alex
]]>I don’t understand this plugin at all. I added my pixel ID to it, checked the boxes and saved it. I looked in the source code on woocommerce pages and dont’ see the pixel code or the pixel id or anything related to facebook pixel at all. Should it appear in the page’s source code? When do events get recorded? How do I know if its’ working? I’m totally lost, I thought this would be easy. I had the pixel code on a different site, but I deleted it from there, but facebook is still indicating green meaning the pixel is active, but where?
]]>Hi!
First of all thank you for this great plugin. Simple and clever!
I just suggest to remove the // Insert Your Facebook Pixel ID below.
comment from the snippet inside Ghostmonitor_Pixel_Public->load_script since in some scenario the snippet is echoed on a single line, invalidating the tracking function.
I suggest you use the product SKU instead of woo’s ID. A marketer is probably already using the SKU in other product datafeeds. Making a new feed and looking up Woo’s sort of random ID would be a pain, and other than being a number assigned by woo, the ID has no meaning for the business.
Also, it doesn’t make much sense to send the value of the product to Facebook for an AddToCart. Doing this will mess up conversion value tracking because an AddToCart is not a sale, and has a much lower per visitor value than a sale.
]]>I installed and configured the plugin with a Facebook Pixel. THEN I figured out how to creat multiple FB Pixels, one for each of my sites. I’ve replaced the Facebook Pixel ID with the new one but when I check the pages, they now have BOTH pixels installed. How do I deleted the incorrect pixel?
]]>Here’s the thing:
Customer goes trough checkout, enters VAT. VAT is deleted when number is validated correct. Perfect.
Now this happen:
1. On the confirmation page, VAT is shown again and Total is wrong.
2. Mail to customer/Admin does not show VAT
3. Order backend show VAT and wrong Total, despite that VAT number is confirmed.

When I deactivate your plugin, the problem is gone…
Any idea why? Can it be fixed?
Thanks,
Jan
Is it possible to add the pixel to custom WooCommerce thankyou pages?
We sell memberships and some of our products are redirected to the users buddypress profile page.
Ex: https://site.com/members/’ . bp_core_get_username( bp_loggedin_user_id() ) . “/member-area/?order_total=$order_total&product_id=$product_id

]]>After this plugin was installed a clients shop started to calculate prices wrong.
It added taxes to shipment and handling fees in the system (Even though thise was set as non taxable prices in the shop). And be course of this it show incorrect values in both the dashboard and on the Woocommerce Thank You page.
Disabling this plugin fixed the problems, now for the cleanup…
