I don’t know if it’s because the plugin hasn’t been updated to newer versions of SAM, or newer versions of wordpress, but I just couldn’t get this plugin to work at all.

The SAM template, as ancient as it is, does work in a subfolder so I know that my firewalls (both web server side and SAM side) are configured and port forwarding is working, so have come to the conclusion that the plugin either needs updating, taking on by a new developer, or considered abandoned altogether.

Other automation software (e.g. RadioDJ) has a working WP plugin that is working on the latest beta version of WP. Would be nice if SAM could do the same.

No updates or comments in the last 5 months. Project Abandoned. Would have been nice to use but is not working.

All in all I’m very impressed!

I’ll come back and give it 5 stars when it gets a couple more features from the original SAM php web pages (album art, song info, currently playing). I’d also love to see an ajax update option to accompany the plugin so widgets/tables automatically update.
