The site does not appear to have been hacked. A month ago the site was transferred from hosting to hosting; a long time ago the plugin worked perfectly on the previous hosting! You never know if this information will be useful.
Also:
1) refreshed the page and tried to start scanning again
2) deleted and reinstalled NinjaScanner
3) reinstalled WordPress through the panel
Can you please help me resolve this error?

Got this error today on a site managed by Local by Flywheel :
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error.
NinjaScanner is not compatible with Microsoft Windows.
If I install NinjaFirewall (WP Edition), do I still need this plugin?

Tried to upload a backup but that dosn‘t work.
The Ninja Scanner has picked up a couple of nasties, but it has also flagged error_log files. That does not seem right?

]]>Trying to start a scan. Immediately after trying to start, the error message “Missing lock file.” appears.
Of course, the troubleshooting page they have has nothing about this error, but if you search this forum, the error is widespread. No idea why it wouldn’t be included in the troubleshooting docs.
Anyways, click into the log file:

Очистка кеша вручную и переустановка плагина не помогает.
Изменение способа сканирования с “Fork process using WordPress built-in Ajax Process Execution.” на “Fork process using WordPress built-in WP-CRON.” не помогает, показывает ошибку “Error: Fatal error: the HTTP server returns a [500 Internal Server Error] HTTP code. Aborting”.

Hi, I saw that schedule scanning is a premium feature. What I don’t understand is that if I’m using the free version, so it won’t scan at all? If it does scan, what is the default time for scanning for the free version? Or do I need to manually click the scan button?

When using NinjaFirewall with Roots Bedrock WordPress Boilerplate or possible any WordPress install that uses DotENV instead of values set inside wp-config NinjaFirewall can not read/retrieve DB credentials.
This prevents configuring Firewall & its mode in the Dashboard and ninjacheck script fails too.
Any solution for this please?

my provider told me that I have a problem with an infected file. After scanning with NinjaScanner I received a mail that all seems to be OK. When I look into the appropriate folder it looks suspicious to me.
I found in the folder (called ‘docs’) (I cannot remember created this) following files:
index.php is empty
Can somebody help me?
