Hi
I was commissioned to update a site to latest versions of plugins.
Nivo was at 1.3.2 and upgraded to current version 1.4.1.
All sliders and categories have been removed during the upgrade.
I’ve reverted to a backup and all is working fine, but I’d like to get this sorted.
Can you please advise?
The nivo sliders in my website went missing, but the php shortcode calling the banners is displaying fine on my site. So currently, i cannot edit my current banners in the dashboard because they are nowhere to be found.
May i know if its a bug? or is it need to update the plugin? What if i update the plugin, i may not able to retrieve the current banners?

Could be because of old PHP 5.3
Hi there,
Thank you for a great plugin!
One question tho, can we choose which transition effects/effects to use?
Ex. I want to only have one transition in my slider, like a fade only transition
Is that possible?
The demo site provided at https://demo.dev7studios.com/ does not provide the image upload links in the nivo slide create/edit
under the slider images section, there are no upload/edit/view options or buttons
cheers

Deployed slider with two images on a page.
Underneath images are the numbers 1 2 to indicate the first and second images.
I want to remove these.
How do I do that?
Thanks.

Hi, I’ve created 5 slides with a category sports slug and embedded the shortcode into a text widget, the slider works but there is an extra bullet beneath the slides which causes the widget area to collapse and the page jumps up and down each time this happens. Any ideas how I can stop this or will I have to live with it?
Many thanks

Hi, how do I adjust the speed and transition for this slider?
How can I adjust the size of the slider? My images are all set to 400×300 but when previewing, they are stretched to the whole width of the page.
THanks
I know this should be a simple task, But where do I adjust the speed.
as I currently have 4 images 200px x 200px and they are flying.
I wish half the speed.
see https://hookthecure.org in the left sidebar under Sponsors.

Hi!
By using this code:
[nivo-slider theme='dark']
[nivoslides image_link='https://localhost:8081/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/01_07.jpeg' caption='']
[nivoslides image_link='https://localhost:8081/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/24_06.jpeg' caption='']
[nivoslides image_link='https://localhost:8081/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/30_06.jpeg' caption='']
[/nivo-slider]
The page crashes and when I want to vieuw the slider (seperately) it doens’t work either. What is going wrong?
How do you add an image to the slider…? I go into “Slider” category, create new “slide”, but there is no way to select an image. It’s just a post body field, and I tried by adding an image to this body field.
But when I go to view slider on live site, the img src attribute is blank, it doesn’t point to any URL.
This is the HTML code that was output to the website:

Sheep

PrevNext

1

So how the heck are you supposed to add an image?
The “Add Slider” should use an image/media field, not a body text field.
Followed instructions but it didn’t work. Maybe some more helpful instructions? Plugin developer site link didn’t work.
