I am using Nivo Slider 1.9.1. After updating WordPress and Dynamik (the Genesis child theme I am using), Slides have stopped loading. Only the top 10% of the first image loads.

I had a Nivo slider that used to work last year. I added a new one, put the shortcode on the page, but no slider appears on that page. I tried both the short verion and the slug version. I tried both Chrome and Safari browsers.

Now I see that my previously working slider doesn’t display either! I’m using the free version.

I’m trying to install a Nivo Slider on to my site to show on all pages. I am in Customizer and when I select add new widget and then Nivo Slider, there are no selections to choose from. When I open up Nivo Sliders, the slider that I created is in there.
Can anyone help?

Nivo Slider Shows Weird Reflection of Images in Slider.. as it scrolls it shows an image reflection of the image displayed correctly below the good image. Anyone know how to fix??

I’m having greyed out pictures in the nivo slider. Not sure how to configure it to show the full colour.
If I hover my mouse over it, it will show the full colour.

Hi lovely WordPress people,

I’ve used the Nivo sliders for about a year now. I’m just doing a website where I need multiple Nivo sliders on one page, the first time I have tried this, and it’s not working. Only one slider will work on a page. Is there something I need to amend or tweak for this to work?

I’m using Nivo Slider Version 2.3.0 loaded directly from within the site but the problem’s the same if I install the plugin from the downloaded zip file.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated. IF (and I hope not) I cannot have multiple Nivos per page then does anybody have an alternative slider that would do the job?

Can I use Slider by Nivo to make a slider that will have an image for the first slide, and all subsequent slides will be only text based, but these are auto generated from my latest posts (or perhaps my sticky posts, or categories)?

Guys, your plugin is seriously broken.

Not a problem with a plugin conflict or the theme. I setup a testing environment with no plugins and just the twenty nineteen theme.

Same results.

I installed the plugin and set up 3 sliders so far. The first I set up (the bottom slider on the page) shows up, but the images are cut around 3/4 of the way down instead of filling to the slider. Also, when I go to change pictures, there is a blank or something in between each picture that minimizes the slider until you scroll to the next.

The 2nd and 3rd sliders (the top 2 on the page) don’t show anything at all

also, I can only get these results with the dark theme. All other themes don’t work at all

Had to change back to 2.1.2 to get it to work
Link above is with 2.1.2 else the generated code for [nivoslider id=”7292″] stays empty.

Hi all,

We’ve developed a simple way to move the captions so they are shown over the images and then to animate them (fade in / out, slide in / out, etc) on slide transitions.

We could release this as a plugin if anyone is interested?

I am the maintainer of remote media library plugin and a customer of yours contacted us to enable using remote media library with your pro plugin.

After some analysis, we found that the best way to enable remote libraries for the nivo slider would be to include a really minor change to the Nivo slider lite plugin.

The change is the following:

This is basically a one liner that has no impact on the nivo slider normal behavior other than playing nice with plugins that extends the media library.

Would you consider adding this one line in your next version of the plugin?

Whenever I have this plugin enabled, the Save Draft and Schedule Post buttons go missing in my post editor and I can only “publish” the post. The moment I disable the plugin my save draft and schedule post buttons appear again.

After updating to the most recent version (1.0.1) the site breaks. Apparently the plugin is trying to include a file that does not exist.

when I activate it, entire site crashes (HTTP ERROR 500)… had to delete plugin through ftp.
