Tried a couple of others and they didn’t actually disable comments. This one worked straight off.

There doesn’t seem to be a control to turn comments on/off for specific posts or pages – it’s all or nothing – but that’s good enough for my purposes.

If people should not be able to comment your posts/pages, this is all you need. Perfect !

I have a client that had a website which was not updated, and his webhosting sent him an email saying that a page colleceted over 8 thousand spam comments, and that he needed to fix this.

I added the plugin, activated it, and all the comments dissapeared. Solved the problem!

Nice little plugin. Works very well. Nothing complicated, just activate and you are ready to go.
