Since a few days/weeks, the notifications we get from our website are incomplete, because the following merge tags do no longer create any output:
{mitglied_updating_user_email}
{mitglied_updating_user_login}
Please note that “mitglied” is a custom post type created with the Toolset plugin.
We are running WordPress?6.6.2 and Notification 9.0.1.
Is this a known issue?
]]>Hello,
Since the update to version 9.0.1, it seems that I’m no longer receiving the person’s email {comment_author_user_email} and {comment_author_user_display_name} in the notification messages.
But I am receiving the other two fields correctly {comment_content} and {comment_author_IP} !!!
I’ve been using your plugin for a long time without any issues.
What can I do on my end?
With WordPress 6.6.2 and Notification Version 9.0.1
Thanks.
Paul
Hi,
From 9.x.x version, {user_password_setup_link} and {user_password_reset_link} are wrong:
Had to revert to 8.x.x version, waiting for an update correcting these blocking issues…
Thanks for your help on that.
]]>Hi! Before updating from v8 to v9 I would like to cross-check a few things with your documentation:
https://docs.bracketspace.com/notification
But it appears that you haven’t updated your documentation yet.
Can you tell when it will be available online?
]]>I, I would like to test your plugin, so I installed it on my staging site. It uses the Streamtube template.
Unfortunately, the plugin does not send e-mails. I proceeded as follows.
I have looked at the documentation and activated debugging – no error messages appear there after the test
I have installed WP MAIL SMTP and set up SMTP – the test mail is successfully delivered to me.
What else can I do? Can you help?
Martin
]]>Hey, version 9 introduced a lot of changes to the plugin core and all of the extensions. Please, keep in mind that you’ll need to update both Notification plugin and all the extensions you have installed on your website.
We suggest updating all the plugins at once, so make sure you have a valid license for all the add-ons and create a backup of your website before updating them, as you should always do.
If you already updated the plugin and it broke your website, please restore your backup and follow the above instructions.
If you believe there’s a different issue with your website, please create a new topic.
]]>I need my users to be able to subscribe to one or more custom taxonomies and as a result get notifications when new posts are created. Also, how about things like weekly updates of all posts added to subscribed taxonomies?
]]>Hello, I want to send a custom welcome email to only users with the role of “Wholesale Customer.” I saw from a forum here that the following was possible with the “Conditionals” add-on, but nothing happens when I test the trigger.
Do I have this set up incorrectly? If so, what is the proper way to set this up so that new Wholesale Users can receive a custom email when they are added?
If I have this set up correctly, then what could be causing this to not work?
Thanks!

]]>Hi,
Is there a way to only trigger posts that belog to a certain category?
Thanks a lot and kind regards
]]>Hi Jakub & team,
I have sent multiple emails on support & your personal email but I’m not getting response from last 3 weeks.
Being a premium customer for this plugin for last 2 year and not responding to emails is not professional service. You left no choice so I have to create this issue in public space.
I have sent codebase & DB for testing the issue of emails not triggering for my website.
Hope to get response.
Thanks
]]>I use gravity forms to populate ACF fields of a custom field group which creates a custom post.
I am trying to send a notification to the email of the user that is submitted in this new post (field name Email) of the new post URL that has been generated, but its not pulling through the e-mail address or the new post URL.
The custom post type can be seen on the left ‘Business Users’.
]]>hello, would be great if you could fix this in any of the next updates. thanks!

Hi there
I paid for the full version. Requested a refund within the 14 day “no questions asked” guarantee and despite sending several requests have not heard back nor have a received a refund. I’m submitting it here because I dont know another way to get in touch since I’ve emailed several times.
]]>Hi
My website was sending emails without issue. We were able to setup Notifications successfully and test it by sending emails to personal email accounts.
We had 2 notifications:
1) When we manually add users to the wordpress platform
2) When a user logs into the platform
As this is a new site, we launched yesterday and added around 100 users. I then added my personal email address again and it didn’t send the notification. I also noticed that the notification triggered when users log in was also not sending. I was also not getting the reset password email when I triggered it from the admin screen, which we did not have a Notification set up for using the Notifications plugin which I thought was weird
I was getting emails from the front end (from the Contact Us form and when a user requests their password).
I deactivated the plugin and then re-activated it and everything seems to be working again.
My question: is there a way to see what emails were sent?
I need to see who received the emails and who didn’t.
Thanks!
]]>Currently there’s no option to create a notification when the WordPress core gets updated. Having a log of when these updates are done is pretty important.
Hopefully it’s something you can include in the upcoming v9 release. ??
]]>I have a notification setup that triggers when the theme gets updated. It’s working as expected if I update the active theme, but not for non-active themes.
So if you are using a child theme you’ll never receive a notification when you update the ‘parent theme’ because it’s not the active theme.
Hi there,
I am trying to work out whether this plugin is right for our specific use case before purchasing.
We are creating a customer portal on wordpress using jetengine custom post types to show information related to specific users (i.e quotes, invoices etc).
These custom posts are assigned to specific users using jetengine relations. For example, we can create a new quote post and link it to a specific user account.
We would like to automatically notify users when something on their individual account changes, for example if a new quote post (linked to their user) is added, or the status of an existing custom post (linked to their user) changes. Of course these notifications should only go to the relevant user.
Hopefully that makes some sense, it’s hard to explain! Please let me know what you think and whether there is a solution for this use case.
Thank you!
]]>Hi All
Still fairly new with the WordPress, I am in the final stages of setting up a store (Woocommerce). My store can only be accessed by users created by Administrators (customers must request an account).
When I create an account for a customer, it sends an email to the user with a “set your password” email. I have found a plugin that will customize this, however I want to change the URL’s in those links.
Currently the two link in that email are:
yoursite/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=XB0QUrz7UQFXY6fZv0w3&login=<<USER NAME>>
The above links to the set password page
yoursite/wp-login.php
The above links to the standard WP login page
Can I change these URL’s so that they go to the Woocommerce account page? For example:
yoursite/my-account?action=rp&key=XB0QUrz7UQFXY6fZv0w3&login=<<USER NAME>>
yoursite/my-account
Thanks so much!
]]>According to the WP plugin database your plugin was last updated one year ago and only compatible up to WP 6.2.4 Therefore it is flagged by other plugins as unsafe and needing replacement. Please update your record in the WP plugin database.
]]>is a problem that a link is sent for “Forgot password”, but it does not work if there is a space in the username. the link then looks something like this:
“https://<domain.name>/password-forgotten/?a=set_password_from_key&key=<xxxxxxx>&login=user name”.
The space in the name is not included in the hyperlink. If the user clicks on this link, he receives the following error message:
“Sorry, no password reset key was found. Please check your email and try again.”
If the hyperlink is entered manually in the browser completely, i.e. with the space, the reset works.
Is it possible to make a notification that only sends out if a new post in a particulier category is posted?
Thanks in advance.
Do you have a tag for for user who receives the email notification? If so what’s that?
Only found tag for “PUBLISHING USER” and “Author” but not users who receives the email notification using user roles.

I haven’t seen this posted here, but for me it is happening on every site that I have checked.
Thank you for a great plugin.
]]>Just came across your plugin and what we are looking to do is currently we have a hidden page only accessible to logged in users of a certain group for example Raffle Users WordPress group have access to this page and nobody else, i would like the notifications subscription to popup ONLY on this page not all across the website or homepage, or even just popup for these specific group users, we would like to limit the notifications to only this group and only from the posts page (blog page) as we have it locked down with a restriction element in WordPress, can we accomplish this? Our site is used as an ecommerce woocommerce site along with a raffle page (blog) not all ecommerce customers have access to the raffle page (based in the blog posts section) and if your not logged in nobody has access to the raffle blog page, im still in the process of building the site.

]]>Thank you for this great plugin, could you please add support for Latepoint since the users/customers are not logged in as wp users. And support the booking status (approved, canceled ..etc)
Best wishes,
Can I send an SMS alert message to all my website subscribers as a group? Please advise.
]]>Hi. If someone adds HTML tags to their post comment/reply (e.g. text formatting or list tags), those tags are gone when the content is inserted in the Notification email using {comment_content}. Is that a WordPress thing, or something the plugin is doing, and is there a solution either way?
