Can i make multiple elements sticky in oceanwp sticky anything plugin ?

Hi

I tried to make the top-bar sticky with the plugin, but it doesn’t work.
I tried both unique selector and then several complex combination of classes and IDs, but without any luck whatsoever.
Do you have any idea how to solve the issue?

Hi,
I have two sidebars and I apply the plugin as described. Result: The right sidebar sticks perfectly. The left one does not stick, but disappears (after scrolling). Any idea?

In the plugin settings, I have e.g. “#left-sidebar, #right-sidebar” (same result with classes). The elements are detected as the disappearing shows. The elements are as follows:

ps: For some unknown reasons to me, the right-sidebar is classified as primary sidbar, if that plays any role. I haven’t find out how to change that.

i’m trying to Stick my top menu ONLY.

I tryed the selectors:
#header-top
#header-top clr
#header-top
#site-header-inner
#site-navigation

If I use #site-header it works, but the header logo sticks with the top menu too. Is it possible to Stick the Menu on top?

Hi there, thanks for this little great plugin.

We are trying to make 2 buttons placed on the right sidebar sticky (Is just one theme created with elementor and saved in theme pnael/My Library for OceanWP)

You can check those in the provided link (“Make an appointment” and “call us now buttons”) right at the bottom of the right sidebar.

The problem with using .widget-area is that it makes all the right sidebar sticky and we only need those 2 buttons to stick.

We tried with .elementor-button-text and .elementor-878 but has no effect.

How can I make the last widget sticky on my right sidebar?

I’m using this plugin to stick my sidebar and Header. In my sidebar im using newsletter form and in my header im using a search bar, but I’m not able to type in this field in mobile.

When I enter something in a field, I see a quick flash of the virtual keyboard appear, then it quickly disappears.

I can’t click in any field at all if I’m visiting the site from a cell phone.

I’ve found some existed topic, but they are not working.

i activated the Ocean Stick Anything plugin for my OceanWP and entered at the theme panel / stick Anything: # site-header. The header was then also fixed.

But since I changed the style from minimal to transparent in OceanWP Design / Customizer / Header / General, the header is gone.

What do I have to enter, if I have a transparent header?

I am building my new blog version migrated from WordPress.com to www.ads-software.com.

I’ve been trying to add a social media sticky sidebar on the desktop right side of my blog (see the website link attached).
However I’ve several issues:

• The offset seems to be always the same value, weither I put 10px, 50px or 200px (i would like the social bar to be vertically centered on the screen)
• How can I set up the social media side bar in order to be “independent” ? I mean so I don’t have to use an empty column next to it? (you will understand when you’ll see the website, just below the hero section)
• I’ve noticed that the elements to stick only work with class (.section) and doesn’t work with ID (#section) (CSS selectors added with Elementor)
• Last question: I’m trying to stick my header as well (only the menu, not the logo). When I’m looking at the source code, my top menu section has the class “container clr” and I tried to stick it but I assume that it doesn’t work when there is a space between the class name? How can I stick the menu on top of my blog?

I have OceanWP and Ocean Extra.

Or only stick a selected header? I have the main header created with OceanWP and other headers created with Elementor. I would like to stick the main OceanWP header only.

I set my menu to sticky and it works as you scroll down until you get to the first Gutenberg Block. That block and all other go over the menu. Is this compatible with newer Gutenber versions? 5.4.3

I’m trying to stick both the Top Bar and the Top Menu elements using “#top-bar-wrap, #site-header”. Both stick when I do this, but both stick to the top of the viewport. As a result of this, the top bar overlaps the top menu. Is there a way to make it so that the top bar sticks to the top of the viewport but the top menu sticks to the bottom of the top bar instead of the top of the screen? I tried reversing the order of the elements, but it didn’t change anything.

Hi, I can’t seem to get a column in a multiple column section to stick.

Whole sections not a problem. Individual items within a section seem to work, but only within that section.

But individual columns in a multi column section does nothing.

I saw previously you fixed an issue like this due to columns being set to equal height. I have played with these settings, but nothing here seems to have any effect.

I am using elementor (free) as the page builder – can you tell me specifically which options I need to set for this to work?

I’ve found an existed topic, that’s already closed. (How to stick menu?)
So I’m opening a new one, because I’m not able to solve my issue.
I’ve tried to follow your instruction, but it doesn’t work well.
After adding:

header#site-header.transparent-header.is_stuck {
    position: fixed !important;
    top: 0 !important;
}

the logo is somewhere in the middle of the page and the menu is sticked to the top (due to top:0)
And if I scroll to the top the issue remains, here I’m expecting that the header is reset to initial state.

Dear developers,

The stick anything plugin is not working properly after update. Scroll this page to the bottom and you can see unusual movement of the sticked element there.

When Sticky is active (and with values .widget-area, #site-header) the post content slowly scrolls up by itself. It only appears to happen on posts, not pages, but not 100% sure. If I disable Sticky this behavior stops. This issues seems to have been addressed as a bug at Github, below…

Im using a theme from OceanWP and using STICK ANYTHING. I added header in the field. the header sticks fine , but, in a post the content scrolls over the header rather than under. Am i doing something wrong? thanks for your help

Hello, and thank you for creating OceanWP.

I have a menu I created with OceanWP. It uses these settings: “top menu” header; menu displays after the logo; menu location is in “MAIN”.

I tried using this plugin to stick this menu and it did not work at all. I am using the .header-top selector. This is an offline development site so I cannot provide a link to the page.

I do have OceanWP.
I do have Ocean Extra.
I did try using a different plugin called “Sticky Menu (or Anything!)” with the exact same selector and it did work there.

I did not want to leave a negative review just for something that may have broken at some point or something like that. I am happy using the other plugin just fine. I just wanted to let you know.

If you need any other specifics of my site to reproduce the issue, please let me know.

Hello. I used the stick anything to see if I could get the header to stick. However, now that it is stuck, I can’t get it unstuck. Can you please tell me how to unstick it?

Here is the issue:
I want to stick my header.
I filled “Elements” with the class I need and saved.

The thing is that not only doesn’t my header stick on scroll, but it disappears.

I left “Offset” and “Responsive” empty.

Hi,

I did a fresh install of Ocean WP Theme and the Stick Anything Plugin. I added a class called .fixed to my right hand side column because I want the text to remain there but it still scrolls as normal.

I am on PHP 7.1 and I can see the settings inside the Stick Anything is .fixed etc but not sure what else to check.

Can you please assist me?
