can someone please tell me how to get this working again with soundcloud? it used to …. i think soundcloud changed their urls maybe this has something to do with it?
any help would be appreciated this needs to be fixed on a live site ….not ready to upgrade everything just want to get this existing plugin working with soundcloud again thanks

Just a great combo tested.

Embedly + Oembed 4 BP should= All Embedly content in BP Forum. Yay.

Experiment:
Meetup.com pics in forum with Oembed 4 BP installed without Embedly = no show
Break.com videos ” ” = no show
Slideshare.com presentation in forum with Embedly installed without Oembed 4 BP = no show
Ustream video in regular blog post still worked.

I’m using this plugin, but i want to set the width of embed objects, same width for every type of media, ex: 320×240…

Theres is a way to do this?

I tried everything, read all the forums about Oembed for buddypress. There was a time I had to rename the folder to bp-oembed, but nothing ever worked. I deactivated the plugin and found that there’s a new version and went and installed it. After activating, I didn’t see the Invalid header error, and i didn’t rename anything because it said that this version fixes that. However, whenever I post a link from a youtube video, it’s still showing as a mere LINK and no video embed! I don’t know if there’s something I have to do from my end.

I’m using backwards compatibility and using the bp-sn parent theme. Buddypress and wordpress latest version.

In my Buddypress forums I’ve created topics and included links to YouTube videos. The topic simply displays the link, nothing more. Following the link simply goes to a full-screen version of the video.

I have no clue where to begin troubleshooting this.

I could not embed Blip TV and Viddler videos using this plugin. It also does not show Scribd documents.
Doesn’t the plugin support them?
