Hi, is this plugin still maintained?
I’m using it since 5/6 years, and now I’ve updated Woocommerce… it seems it still works, but I would like to know if I can still rely on this (really good) plugin or I should move on and look for other plugins…
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
thanks for the plugin.
I would like to know if and how it is possible to set free shipping from a price threshold.
Thank you

Hi Guys,
I use your plugin in combination with woocommerce and the german market plugin.
I’d like to specify the tax in the number of the costs.
Actually I have declared the price for the shipping and the tax costs comes on top.
Is there a possibility that the tax would be included in the cost declaration?
Thank you!
]]>Hello,
Is it possible to setup the plugin in that way, that the costs is based on every single item instead of total weight?
E.g.
Package 1 – 5 kg – 10€
Package 2 – 10 kg – 12€
Package 3 – 15 kg – 15€
Total: 37€
Instead of it’s based on weight: 30 kg?
]]>Hello ! awesome plugin.

Is it possible to hide this shipping method when the weight is exceeding a specific number?
For example – when the weight exceeds 1.000 kg then it’s not possible to chose this shipping method anymore.
How would I do that?

]]>Hello,
I’m very happy with this plugin, however found the following problem:
The shippingcosts are calculated/visable in the shoppingcart and the check-out page, but not on the thank you page.
The total price is calculated correctly, but there is no line for the shipping costs (also not in the confirmation email)
I’ve got some images to show the difference:
1.shoppingcart-including-shipping-cost.png
2.check-out-including-shipping-cost.png
3.thank-you-confirmatio-excluding-shipping-cost.png
Do you have a way so that the shippingcosts are also displayed on the thank you page (and confirmation email)?
Thanks!

How do i make the method title to appear after the shipping cost instead of before ?

]]>Dear Author
Your plugin are the best but you must know it . This plugin use of weight in description for calculate , but , we wrote net weight of products in ” weight description ” and this is not with packaging .
So because , in air mail , total weight are important , you must make a option for use of shipping classes , not weight in description products.
Please give me a way for resolve it or , if you have this idea in soon please tell to me for waiting or not say to me for use of another plugin.

]]>Hello,
I have WooCommerce version 2.5.2 and the products weights are in grams.
I noticed that when, for example, I add 3 of the same product weighing 400g, the shipping cost stays the same as for 1 product (400g), the products are not added together (1200g).
1000|77|1|
2000|109|1|
So when I add 1 product of 400g, the shipping cost is 77 (correct). But when I change that item’s quantity to 3, the weight should be 3x400g, so the correct pcost should be 109. But the shipping cost doesn’t change even if I put 100 of the same item.

24|5.74|1|
18|21.95|2|
18|21.95|3|
18|40.95|4|
someone from germany buy to products from 18kg each and he still needs to pay one time shippingcost.
How can i solve this problem?

]]>Hi there,
My problem is similar to someone earlier on. I had a problem with Canada and the USA categories. I’ve set the weight and shipping rate:
0.5|21.10|1
1|36.70|1
1.5|49.55|1
2|63.90|1
for Canada and the USA
the shipping rate should be charged only 21.10 but the calculation on the checkout page was $63.90.
Another problem is I added one more item onto the cart and changed the shipping address to Australia just to check that there would have a problem with other countries or not.
So, I changed to Australia and the correct shipping cost should be $9.5 as per the below table for Australia which is under the country group 2. But the calculation on the check out page was $27.39 which is not in the table set at all.
0.5|9.5|2
1|14.5|2
1.5|19.9|2
2|24.9|2

]]>Hi there, and thanks for your help in advance.
My site: https://69th-dept.com/shop
The guide regarding shipping rates states:
Syntax: Max weight|Cost|Country Group number|Method Title
So I inputted the following:
1|25|1| EMS UK & Eire
1|20|2| EMS North America
1|23|3| EMS Continental Europe
1|26|4| EMS Scandinavia
1|27|5| EMS Australasia
1|22|6| EMS Russia & Central Asia
1|26|7| EMS South America
My cart’s shipping calculator worked fine for calculating the costs, but every single option would return the first ‘Method Title’.
Inputting a US address got UK & Eire, inputting a Brazilian address got the same etc.
So I deleted the last column, as it stands the shopping rates input box contains the following:
1|25|1|
1|20|2|
1|23|3|
1|26|4|
1|27|5|
1|22|6|
1|26|7|
However, my cart shipping calculator still returns ‘EMS UK & Eire’…
I deleted the plugin, deleted all it’s files, reinstalled the plugin and inputted the above (without the last column)… and the problem persisted.
I don’t have any caching on the site, but thought maybe it’s my browser cache, cleared that, the same… checked via a different browser and same error. I checked my hosting isn’t caching too.
Any idea’s?

]]>We’ve noticed that the shipping rates are not calculating correctly consistently. Here’s how my table is set up:
1000|5.00|1
0.8125|14.95|2
2.8125|24.95|2
1000|44.95|2
0.8125|14.95|0
2.8125|28.95|0
1000|59.95|0
1 = US
2 = Canada
0 = All other countries
weight is in pounds
The problem seems to be when a Canadian customer (2) purchases an item that should cost $14.95 to ship, but instead is being charged $24.95. I’ve checked the weights of the products in Woo Commerce and they’re correct. Is this a bug in the plug-in?
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/oik-weightcountry-shipping/
]]>Hi the team,
Thank you for your plug-in. I used to install this plug-in and it worked fine. But not this time I may do something incorrectly. My shipping circumstances is only ship to one country which is set in Country Group 1. I set the shipping rate as follows:
500|8.50|1| — 500 g regular shipping $8.50
3000|13.75|1| — less than or = 3 kg regular shipping $13.75
5000|17.55|1| — less than or = 5 kg regular shipping $17.55
I am testing with a product which has weight 255 g, the shipping rate should be charged $8.50. My problem is the shipping defaulted “There are no shipping methods available. Please double check your address, or contact us if you need any help.”
I enabled the Weight/Country Shipping method.
Here are some screenshots I set saved them in dropbox.

I need three country groups: local, Europe and International, and am having a hard time understanding how I add Europe and International without having to select each individual country. I see on the plugin front page that it is possible to group countries that share delivery costs, and I get that I need to use country group 0 for anything I haven’t selected before. I can’t see how I would group Europe as one, and everything else as another, though. Can anyone help?

]]>Hi, thanks for this great plugin. I’ve been using it for a while now with some customization so every update I have to make some changes. Maybe you would like to implement my changes?
Optionally display country to title
In function calculate shipping I added the following snippet to replace %COUNTRY% in a shipping title with the name of the country. For example ‘Shipping to %COUNTRY’ could be replaced by ‘Shipping to Denmark’.
//JOS: Get country name
$country = $package['destination']['country']; // country code e.g. nl
if (array_key_exists($package['destination']['country'], $woocommerce->countries->countries)) {
$country = $woocommerce->countries->countries[$package['destination']['country']]; //Full name e.g. The Netherlands
}
$title = str_ireplace( "%COUNTRY%", $country, $this->countrygroup_title);
Allow a country to be in multiple groups
This simplifies setup for me, as some countries have similar rates but may have some exceptions on certain weight classes.
function calculate_shipping( $package = array() ) {
$woocommerce = function_exists('WC') ? WC() : $GLOBALS['woocommerce'];
$country_groups = $this->get_countrygroups($package); //JOS: Get all groups that contain the country
foreach ( $country_groups as $country_group ) {
$rates = $this->get_rates_by_countrygroup( $country_group );
//bw_trace2( $rates, "rates" );
$weight = $woocommerce->cart->cart_contents_weight;
//bw_trace2( $weight, "cart contents weight" );
$final_rate = $this->pick_smallest_rate( $rates, $weight );
if ( $final_rate !== false && is_numeric( $final_rate )) {
$taxable = ($this->tax_status == 'taxable') ? true : false;
if ( $this->fee > 0 && $package['destination']['country'] ) {
$final_rate += $this->fee;
}
//JOS: Get country name
$country = $package['destination']['country']; // country code e.g. nl
if (array_key_exists($package['destination']['country'], $woocommerce->countries->countries)) {
$country = $woocommerce->countries->countries[$package['destination']['country']]; //Full name e.g. The Netherlands
}
$title = str_ireplace( "%COUNTRY%", $country, $this->countrygroup_title);
$rate = array(
'id' => $this->id,
'label' => $title,
'cost' => $final_rate,
'taxes' => '',
'calc_tax' => 'per_order'
);
$this->add_rate( $rate );
} else {
add_filter( "woocommerce_cart_no_shipping_available_html", array( $this, 'no_shipping_available') );
}
}
}
/**
* Retrieve the number of the country group for the country selected by the user on checkout
*
* @param array $package - expected to contain ['destination']['country']
* @return integer - country group - which will be 0 if the country is not present in any of the defined country groups
* Country group 0 can be used to set up default rates
*/
function get_countrygroups( $package = array() ) {
//JOS: Get all groups that contain the country
$ret = array();
$country = $package['destination']['country'];
$numbers = $this->country_group_no;
$country_group = 0;
for ( $counter=1; $counter <= $numbers; $counter++ ) {
if ( is_array( $this->settings['countries'.$counter] )) {
if (in_array( $country, $this->settings['countries'.$counter])) {
$ret[] = $counter;
}
}
}
return( $ret );
}
// and in function pick_smallest_rate:
if ( null === $rate ) {
//$rate = $max_rate;
//Jos: not found? disallow!
$rate = false;
}
Please notice that this last change changes behaviour if a weight is chosen that is greater than the max rate for the country group.

I set up 3 different shippings based on the weight:
0|20.49|1 (for products without any weight)
10|7.00|1
5000|20.49|1
If I add a product within 10kg plus products without any weight (or weight 0) which have a higher price of shipping, is there a way to show the highest shipping price? Because it shows 7 euro, which is the second… Is it possible?

]]>I need a shipping plugin that will allow customers to chose their location from a preset list, and will then calculate the shipping cost based on the weight of all items in the cart.
e.g.
Location A: 0kg-2kg costs $10. 2kg-4kg costs $15
Location B: 0-2kg costs $7. 2kg-4kg costs $13.
So first the customer will chose Location A or Location B. Then the plugin will calculate the shipping cost based on total weight of the cart.
