Easy to set up and everything I needed worked great out of the box. I had originally tried a paid plugin from Envato and it didn’t work as good as this one. Thanks for a really nice plugin.

Pretty simple and effective plugin – love it. Price was right as well.
Would be awesome and helpful if you connect it to Stripe as well as Paypal. Not so much for a payment button, but to track an ongoing dollar amount raised.

Compatible with WP 5.1.1 and works like a charm. I have it set up with PayPal and that was made to work instantly. A truly simple yet effective plugin to create a donation button and show immediately how much has come in so far. Nice alternative skins, too. If you find yourself using it to a similar degree of satisfaction, don’t forget to send a little donation to the author to show your appreciation!

I tried a few ‘thermometer’ plugins but this was the only one that was easy to format size, show target and amount raised. Using Graphene theme.

The graphical display of olimometer is okay. It works for displaying the actual amount. Installation had no complications and worked instantly after having added the paypal API information.
I tested Olimometer on a local test environment (InstantWP) where Olimometer caught the total of the paypal account MINUS paypal fee. there was a donation about 5 EUR and Olimometer displayed EUR 4,55.
In productive installation Olimometer got the total donation of EUR 5…
Wait there was one complication:
In productive installation Olimometer told me that I did not have enough rights to create a new Olimometer… :/ I used the default Olimometer which is enough for now.
I have Multi site installation.

Working with a Genesis theme, which should be pretty standard, but immediately got errors upon activating the plug-in. That always scares me in a plug-in, so I immediately went searching for another fundraising plugin.

Installed and setup just fine. However, this script only shows your current PayPal balance. It does not track donations as they come in, other than the increase in your PayPal account. If you use funds from PayPal, of course the amount raised will go down, again because it shows your actual current PayPal balance. I fail to see the usefulness in this other than to show the world how much money I currently have in PayPal.
